Love the ice cream. Whenever I'm on this side of town and have time to stop at Frosty Boy, I do! If the weather is nice- be prepared to wait; wait to order, and then wait for your order. Easily a hour wait. Worth it every time! I wish they were open later.

Absolute BEST place in GR for vegan and gf icecream treats! I have a dairy allergy and love that I have such a selection of treats to choose from. Even better selection if you don't have allergies at all! They do a great job at handling allergies and have separate areas and equipment to handle them. Be prepared for long lines on nice days and later at night but it's so worth it.

Yesterday I brought my children and husband here, one of young ladies at the order windows had the rudest attitude while ordering, then my husband asked for a Sunday with bananas and peanuts and she r refused to give peanuts as she claimed “they wouldn’t fit” which is a lie. So we got our ice cream from the second window and I asked for a side of peanuts and she proceeded to tell us I would have to get back in line which by then was Al the way too the parking lot, just for a side of peanuts and wouldn’t look at me directly while talking to me, she also walked away giggling, all around bad experience this place has went down hill and we’ve been coming here for years! Ice cream is good employees are not unfortunately.

This is the worst ice cream shop in Grand Rapids, MI. When I got a cookie dough I only got 5 pieces of cookie dough (literally)! My husband got a butterfinger and he go very little candy toppings. If you want all vanilla ice cream with very little flavor this is your ice cream shop. Horrible experience for a first time visit.
