Food was great, and the cook was entertaining. We had a reservation for 6;30, but didn't get sat until closer to 7 and it took forever for the waitress to serve our drinks and to clear empties. She never offered dessert either, even though it was a birthday party, so had to ask rather than be rushed our checks. We still enjoyed ourselves,.and this may just be a one-off on service.
The food and customer service were incredible. The only area that could use improvement is the Thai curry sauce; it needs more curry flavor and less coconut. The coconut flavor is too strong, making the dish taste more like coconut soup than curry sauce. A readjustment would be great. Otherwise, the rest of the Japanese food was excellent, and the portion sizes were generous. Thank you!
Fantastic Asian food restaurant and hibachi grill. Fujyama is a family favorite. We have done both hibachi and dining many times. Hibachi is fun for a special occasion or treat. The portions are large and the show put on by the chef is entertaining and fun. The food is absolutely delicious. If you sit on the dining side you have a regular full menu of Japanese and Chinese dishes, sushi, bento boxes. There a lots of options, and a kids menu as well. The portions are also large....
