I asked my husband to find a French fruit tart for my birthday and Gaby did an amazing job! He was happy to take on a custom order and the tart was phenomenal! Gaby is the chef and owner of this outstanding French bakery. You can honestly taste the passion and skill in every item he makes. Gaby is not only friendly and welcoming, but also incredibly knowledgeable about his food, ingredients, and where it all comes from. Every single item I tried was delicious, but when I say the crème brûlée was on another level, I mean it — hands down, without question, the best I’ve ever had! Gaby mentioned he spent a couple of years perfecting the recipe, and it absolutely 100% shows. If you haven’t tried Gaby’s Gourmandise (inside the Downtown Market), you’re missing out — this is a place (and a chef) that you will never forget!
