We had Gilmore Catering do our wedding in tandem with Clearwater Place Events! We did the buffet and received so many compliments from our guests about the food. The workers were also very attentive in making sure we had all the food and water that we needed despite it being a buffet. Thank you Gilmore for being a major part of our most special day!

Gilmore catering did our wedding in August 2024. They did an incredible job making sure that our day ran smoothly. Gilmore provided breakfast while we were getting ready, lunch for the groomsman and both the bar and food service for our reception. All the food was delicious and beautiful! My only comment was that they cleared the food and drinks rather quickly and I did not get a change to eat the food and drinks. 10/10 would recommend their services

We used Gilmore Catering for Sons Wedding on 9/28. Overall the food was good; chicken was dry but it is hard to cook that much chicken ahead of time and not have it dry. My Son and Daughter-in-law were supposed to have plates ready for them so they could eat once they were done dismissing tables, however that didn’t happen so I had to go outside the Venue and find someone to make them up plates. Crew outside was super apologetic and brought plates right in. The Manager in charge that evening was terribly rude, she had someone not show and was not happy about having to work their station and made it obvious. My Son went outside after dinner to thank the catering team for all their hard work as her knew they were short staffed and appreciated everything that they had done and she was mumbling under her breathe as he walked away. Gilmore includes mandatory tipping in their bill, so I am not sure if she thought she deserved more or what the issue was, but very unprofessional. The rest of the staff was friendly, but for the cost I don’t know that we would use Gilmore again with the other options out there. We were excited to use this company and they did not meet the expectations due to their one sour apple.

The servers and bartenders were great -- the espresso martinis were a huge hit (also they were very accommodating with my request to have them made with a specific recipe haha). Additionally, the food was FANTASTIC. Actually delicious. I wish I had more of an appetite on the day of! We chose the grilled salmon and chicken mostarda with sides of scallop potatoes and green beans -- so good.

From the outset, planning with Gilmore was easy and efficient; Gilmore was very responsive to all of our emails and questions, and made the planning process very simple. Additionally, they were very helpful when we asked a variety of subjective questions about things like appetizer quantity; you could tell they were genuinely trying to help us, not just trying to upsell us wherever possible.
Gilmore was also incredibly flexible with the variety of allergies and dietary restrictions of our guests. Our guests raved about the food, and so did we! They also added some thoughtful touches, like reserving appetizers for us knowing that we wouldn't have time to grab some ourselves.

We scheduled our tasting a few months before the wedding. The food had great flavor and we left very happy with our decision. We had the director and an assistant sit down with us to select our menu and answer any questions. They were open to us making adjustments for our own taste preferences, they were able to answer almost all the questions we had and if they couldn't they did follow up on those questions. The only negative experience of our tasting was that we felt a little rushed to make decisions/ask questions because they were catering to a few other couples/parties also doing their tasting. They seemed somewhat distracted and didn't provide us with much enthusiasm. We loved being able to mix and match the different proteins and sides as we wanted them. Gilmore was also great with response times over e-mail and the software system they use online was easy to navigate. We appreciated that they accommodated us making smaller payments over a longer period of time instead of one large payment at once.
We had Rian as our day of event manager. She is amazing. We went back and forth several times over e-mail; she had great response times, answered all questions, and was on top of everything. I had a final phone call with Rian to go over the final menu/counts/dietary restrictions about a week or two before the wedding. I was a little nervous prior because of the amount of dietary restrictions we had for our guests. Rian made me feel so confident about Gilmore after that phone call. She catered to every single dietary restriction without fail so that each of those specific guests had their version of the selected meal catered to them. Rian was so kind, put together, accommodating; I felt like I was talking to a friend during that phone call. The only negative was that I didn't get the chance to meet her on the wedding day.
On the wedding day, we were just hoping that the taste of the food matched what we had at the tasting, and it did! We were given so many compliments on the day of and in the weeks following on how great the food was. We had a plated service. It seemed like the service time to get food to all guests was pretty quick. We also opted for the ice cream sundae bar, which was also a big fit. It got pretty melty, but the guests still enjoyed it.
Again, I would highly recommend this team for your event or wedding. I would choose them all over again on taste and Rian alone.

The only con- it was communicated only a few weeks prior to the wedding that in order to have alcohol provided for the groomsman in the suite, an additional service fee of $300 would be charged. It was difficult to justify spending this fee + cost of alcohol for less than 2 hours of drinking, on top of the price that we were already spending for services the day of the wedding. This impacted the experience of all the groomsmen the day of the wedding.
Overall, We would highly recommend Gilmore Catering to other people. The overall experience was highly positive, and our guests could not stop talking about how good the food was. The quality of food and the professionalism of the staff were exceptional, making them a valuable addition to any event.

It was very horrible! The venue bakers loft hired Gilmore catering it was a beautiful venue but their staff as well was horrible. They ruin my wedding!!!!!! I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THE BAKERS LOFT EVENTS NOR GILMORE CATERING! The staff was very rude! One of the bartender that was working was unprofessional. She had a stank face the whole time, her body language was unbearable, her appearance looked like she was hungover or hated her job. Like she looked woke up and jumped out of bed and threw her hair in horrible bun and didn’t brush her teeth or hair. I had bunch of my guest come up to me to complain about the staff (myself as the bride) I went up a few times to check out what my guest were talking about and I then understood what everyone was talking about, so I went up to one of the manager and she was very rude as well, and ARUGED with me a few minutes about the bartender, instead of listening to the me. And as for the food, it was disgusting! The kids at the wedding didn’t even like not really eat their food. And it was chicken tenders and fries. And they charged $10 a plate. That should pretty much explain how the food tasted. And as for the adults food that was not worth $25 a plate for each guest was. The chicken was dry and looked like Fisher’s price kids fake food. The loaded potato salad was cut in huge chucks and not even cooked right! And barely had any flavor to it! So please be a smart soon to be bride and do your research because you had to cater from bakers loft.
