We only have positive things to say about Gilmore Catering and the service they provided at our wedding, for both cocktail hour and our plated dinner service. With planning, the team was organized, provided clear direction and were attentive to details. Our guests were quick to mention how delicious their meals were, which is a high compliment to Gilmore Catering since many of our guests live in large metropolitan cities and have quite sophisticated palettes. Gilmore also impressed me with how proactive and attentive they were to dietary needs (e.g. gluten, dairy, food dyes), which were handled with ease and guests were able to enjoy the evening as a result. Highly recommend!

Whitney from Gilmore Catering worked to provide the salads for our recent strolling dinner. Not only were both salad options delicious but they were both put together to beautifully. Whitney and the GC team were so great to work with. We will definitely use Gilmore Catering again!

We had the most wonderful experience with Gilmore Catering. From the tasting to the day of, they were professional, responsive, and accommodating. They paid careful attention to our special request for a specific type of cookie, and were VERY accomodating for many guest allergies - we went through the list person by person and made sure they had a meal appropriate for them. Their appetizer and dessert displays were beautiful! The guests RAVED about the food for weeks!!!

We had such a great experience with Gilmore for our wedding in April 2025! We did a plated dinner and have never received more compliments from our guests on anything - the food was delicious and served quickly on warm plates. They handled all dietary restrictions with ease, and even remembered an extra serving of potatoes for my husband that we joked about at our tasting. The service was also amazing, especially our bartender Ricky! Thank you for being an awesome part of our big day, Gilmore!

We hired Gilmore Catering for our wedding and HOLY S**T was the food INCREDIBLE!!!! This was the first wedding we've been to that the food was actually really yummy!!! The staff was so kind and helpful and the chicken was moist and just perfect!!! Cannot recommend them enough!!!

Waited a couple of months before leaving this review. We had our wedding catered by them in September 2024 and I wouldn’t recommend using them from our experience. Communication was horrible, it took multiple emails every time we needed an answer. Our day of coordinators attitude sucked. She insisted we do certain stuff her way because she’s been doing this for a long time, but we’re paying for it, we’re doing it how we choose. I appreciate the “professional opinion” but this wasn’t that. Then the day of the wedding. The initial staff was friendly, then it went downhill. They weren’t ready and were short staffed. They told us “special meals and kids meals” would be served first. Then they werent, even after asking multiple times. Our coordinator insisted on making our plates. We dismissed our own tables and after like 20-30 minutes into service we didn’t have our food either. I walked outside to get something out of my truck and walked past the staff and said thank you as they packed up. The second I got behind their truck I heard the coordinator screaming “what the f&;@“! No idea what her problem was, but when your paying 11k for a wedding dinner, it would be nice to have a decent experience. Luckily the rest of our wedding was amazing. Take the warning, at least be selective of your day of coordinator, we should’ve requested a different one.

Gilmore Catering catered our recent wedding held at the High Five GR and they were wonderful to work with! We worked closely with Lori during our planning process. We were able to do a complimentary tasting and talked through all of the details in person. We worked with Kayla as the catering lead for our wedding and she was wonderful as well! Our guests enjoyed the food (surprisingly, the vegan meal was the talk of the night!), everything was served hot, and we had 200 people all served FAST for plated meals! We highly recommend Gilmore- it was a great experience working with them!

The workers were also very attentive in making sure we had all the food and water that we needed despite it being a buffet. Thank you Gilmore for being a major part of our most special day!

Gilmore catering did our wedding in August 2024. They did an incredible job making sure that our day ran smoothly. Gilmore provided breakfast while we were getting ready, lunch for the groomsman and both the bar and food service for our reception. All the food was delicious and beautiful! My only comment was that they cleared the food and drinks rather quickly and I did not get a change to eat the food and drinks. 10/10 would recommend their services

We used Gilmore Catering for Sons Wedding on 9/28. Overall the food was good; chicken was dry but it is hard to cook that much chicken ahead of time and not have it dry. My Son and Daughter-in-law were supposed to have plates ready for them so they could eat once they were done dismissing tables, however that didn’t happen so I had to go outside the Venue and find someone to make them up plates. Crew outside was super apologetic and brought plates right in. The Manager in charge that evening was terribly rude, she had someone not show and was not happy about having to work their station and made it obvious. My Son went outside after dinner to thank the catering team for all their hard work as her knew they were short staffed and appreciated everything that they had done and she was mumbling under her breathe as he walked away. Gilmore includes mandatory tipping in their bill, so I am not sure if she thought she deserved more or what the issue was, but very unprofessional. The rest of the staff was friendly, but for the cost I don’t know that we would use Gilmore again with the other options out there. We were excited to use this company and they did not meet the expectations due to their one sour apple.

Gilmore catered our 6/16 wedding and I was SO HAPPY that we choose them! The servers and bartenders were great -- the espresso martinis were a huge hit (also they were very accommodating with my request to have them made with a specific recipe haha). Additionally, the food was FANTASTIC. Actually delicious. I wish I had more of an appetite on the day of! We chose the grilled salmon and chicken mostarda with sides of scallop potatoes and green beans -- so good.
