I have eaten a lot of pizza in my lifetime and this may be the best. Especially good if you are at the restaurant when it comes out of the oven, get it hot, and eat it in your car at 1 am. The crust, sauce, and cheese are amazing. There is really no comparison between Gino's pizza and chain store pizza--it is on a completely different level.

I have tried at-least 10 pizza spots nearby, and I must say that this is the BEST pizza in Grand Rapids. If you are anywhere near Gino's it is a MUST TRY! I order the large 1 topping carryout deal weekly. Always consistent and a great thin pizza.

Hands down the best old school NY style pizza in GR. Best sauce I've found since moving here. Great cheese / sauce / topping ratio. Stellar dough. Product is consistent - never a bad pie. Talking to the owner the other day and going out they've got 4 generations at the same place, and it shows. This is a family that has dedicated themselves to pizza. Mine gets food here every week. Would highly recommend.

Not happy with my first time taking out a pizza from Gino's restaurant ...I was charged 17 dollars for a cheese pizza on a Friday night and I was shooed out the door after I got it when I was trying to have a conversation ...I guess some things HAVE changed in 54 years ...Vegetarian options: It's pizza

The other night I was on my way to an event. I needed something to fill the void. Fast. I only had a little bit of time. As I stopped over at Jimmy John’s, there shone the neon light: “Gino’s”. I took a gamble and went for pizza instead, thinking maybe they had some ‘za by the slice. They did not. As I looked at the menu, the owner assured me he’d make it fast and it’d be real good. I was sold.It took like 8 min tops from order to box. Lightning speed. I had like a 2 min drive to my destination and just ate the pizza in my car.When I tell you this pizza was good, let me explain. It was so good that I continued to shovel handfuls of pizza into my mouth as the molten hot, fresh from the oven pie destroyed the flesh inside my mouth. It’s been almost 24 hours and I still can’t taste anything…except that pizza. The flavor has lasted more than any normal pizza made by mortal hands. It was worth every boil and scab. Every bite ensuring the doom of my tastebuds. Totally. Worth it.

Ginos now has a customer for life! Pete, the owner, gave me and my friends a wonderful experience. Not only was the food a HIT, but Pete was so down to earth… while 2 buddies and I waited for our pizza (at 1am might I add lol), he gave us the backstory of how long his family’s been in the business. Seeing how intimately his life is to it and watching him hand make the pizza like the master he was… was unforgettable. Thanks again Pete!!??*Make sure yall get a deluxe pizza or a stromboli.
