Gipper's Restaurant & Bar

We stayed next door while in town and just happened upon Gipper’s. I’m glad we did! They had a fun song bingo going on, and a taco Thursday special. They were great! Plus my partner had the taco tater tots and we loved those too! So good!

If you don't know the bartender or are a regular the service is terrible. Plus it gets way too noisy when it is only half full.

Great bar with great fried chicken. My favorite dish here is the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It’s actually seriously hot. I come here in the fall sometimes to watch football when I should be working, but no one needs to know that. Service is always friendly as well.

Large place - inside and outside seating. Large bar, good tap selection, bottles and cans, full bar. Ample parking. Bartenders were very knowledgeable and friendly - care about the customer happy with their choice - not just pushing sales.

I ordered the Thursday special-mushroom swiss burger. Asked for it to be cooked medium well more to the well side. Food arrived to the table medium rare. Couldn't get anyones' attention to return the burger. Fresh cut fries were better than anticipated. Waitress finally came back to the table with check in hand when I showed her the burger. Ate about a third of it, showed her how disgustingly under cooked it was and she said "I told them medium well to well". She offered to take 10% off the check. Fine. When she brings back my check, she TOTALLED OUT SOMEONE ELSES BILL ON MY CREDIT CARD. 3 times what my check was actually for. Let the buyer beware, and review your checks with a fine tooth comb. Felt like far too many regulars for them to pay attention to any other guests. Typical atmosphere. 90% males inside and this single lady should have known better.

Really high quality bar food. Fair prices. Good drinks. Great atmosphere. I’m new to the area and have been here twice and ordered to go once. Wings, pizza, and tacos are all solid choices
