This was my second visit to the Golden Wok. I had Mongolian Beef both times with extra rice noodles. The portion size was ample and it was very tasty. My wife had sweet and sour chicken and she enjoyed her dish as well. Good, solid Chinese food and with a stop.
I loved the service! They are very attentive. I ordered the General Tao's Chicken, and unfortunately, it was dry. However, the sweet and sour soup and egg roll were excellent. My friend ordered the Mongolian beef, and she said it was very good, so overall, I would recommend the Golden Wok.
Fried rice and lo mein lacked severely in flavor. For those prices I expect to not have to salt my food so it could be somewhat enjoyable & not have wasted my money completely. I know these are technically “sides” but that’s all I ever want from Chinese takeout, and these are staple foods that every Chinese place should have down to a science. Disappointing.
