Wife and I chose to try the Garage Bar & Grill to watch the U of M game. We ordered the nachos w/brisket, which was a huge portion so no disappointments there. The waitress was awesome. The atmosphere would have been a 5 start with the exception of a gentleman who brought his dog inside the bar area. The only issue we had was the dog was barking and yelping a lot and the yelps were one of those high pitched yelps so it wasn't pleasant on the ears. When we asked about...

Service: The bartender was extremely welcoming, genuinely glad we were there. The food came out fast.
Food: We got the chicken nachos. They were DELICIOUS! Filled both of us up.
Atmosphere: 100% on point with the name and dive bar market. Really enjoyed the atmosphere.

Beer: They have Busch light, a cider, voodoo ranger, and Sam Adam’s on tap. They have a few domestic, widely distributed bottles....

Food was great, service was great, price was right, and it’s the most dog friendly place I’ve ever been! We stopped when driving past Grand Rapids, and wanted to look for a dog friendly restaurant. Well, first of all Grand Rapids happens to be dog friendly in general. This place came with good reviews and we gave it a try.
