The place fell off big time. From a nice gastro pub to a dive. It’s living off its reputation from two years ago but it’s not the same place. Tired menu, things falling apart. All the old charm and good food are no more.

We are done with GC. We have ordered takeout three times on the last six months, and each time was worse than the last. First pickup order was ok, cold but ok. Second pickup order they were out of several items like French fries. Third pickup ordered on DoorDash ($180) was confirmed, prepared and marked ‘ready for pickup’. Drove to the restaurant to find it closed because of equipment failure. They forgot to turn off DoorDash. It was a pain to get the refund back.
The manager did not return my call, I had to call and speak to a very non caring employee about the refund three days later. This place has gone down hill since new ownership. Manager doesn’t care to resolve major customer issues. Apology not offered by anyone.

I haven't been there in years back when they had a great menu. so felt what the hell I was in the neighborhood. I tried a sample of a dark beer which had a hint smell of dirty bar mats. so I ordered a Guinness which was not poured properly and that as well had the same smell. I couldn't finish my beer especially 7. for it. food I ordered started with appetizers pretzel bites with beer cheese and ranch (beer cheese was a solid cheese spread) was supposed to be ground mustard and beer cheese. onion rings were still dripping with grease.

I ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich which the crust was burnt that it literally crumbled off. chicken was inside was a bit overcooked . not much for the Nashville hot was basically a burnt chicken sandwich and had a hint of fish taste like they shared the same oil. wife ordered a burger with a beer cheese that was hard and cold on the burger. the restaurant was out of fries so they offered breakfast potatoes. if you can prep bfast potatoes you can chop up potatoes to make fresh cut fries. so in closing it's going to take a big miracle for me to return. you are charging high standard prices for a poor quality product .

What happened? There’s used to be good food and drink here? Today was one of the worst meals I’ve had in years. Bartenders are awesome! Cook needs to be trained!

Very cute old school bar with good atmosphere however the service and the food are not on the same level. Staff was nice enough but maybe hung over? The service was extremely slow, the bar top was dirty and the bar behind the bar was very cluttered? Some of the beers up on the wall tap list were not on tap. Our breakfast food came out lukewarm after an absurd amount of time with what looked like few other people in the bar. This was the first time I have been here

The chicken was undercooked and raw in the middle. For such a overpriced curry it didnt deliver on anything but sickness. The beer tasted ransid it seem like they haven't cleaned the beer lines in months . The whole place was covered in greece. The worst placd in GR.

Had a great experience. The fish and chips was insanely good as were the chips(fries). Loved the onion rings. I didnt love the cheese curds as much as they weren't the traditional north Midwest cheese curd..but as a whole everything we had was very very good. Will be back

First time here, but unfortunately the last time as well. We were initially greeted by our server and placed our order after a few minutes at the table. Almost 40 minutes after placing our order, we were told that there was an issue in the kitchen and that the cooks needed to take a break, but that we would get our meals shortly. After another 30 minutes without food, we had to flag down multiple people to cancel our order. We were only checked on by our server twice during this whole process too. Super disappointed, this could have been handled MUCH better.

When businesses change hands perhaps their reviews should reset. I’ve given this location multiple chances after selling to the new owners. It simply is not a good quality bar or restaurant anymore. The new owners have somehow taken a bar restaurant with good standing and created a place that has meh service and meh food on a good day. Had high hopes for the ownership change because of the success of the owners other establishments. I was wrong.

Unfortunately had a terrible experience, and this place used to be much better! We ordered our meals, and waited quite awhile. The server didn’t check in with us until nearly 35 minutes later, then let us know there’s a chemical smell upstairs that was delaying meals but ours will be out shortly. Nearly an hour later, we decided to leave and cancel our order. Very disappointed with the service and how everything was handled.

Waitress was great, but half the beer was not on tap as per the tap list, we were given the wrong menus to start, and then our food came out pretty late (took about 40 minutes), AFTER we agreed that it would be made without some ingredients they were missing from the kitchen.

They were out of the Shepard's pie, and only had a single staff in the kitchen.

Honestly, we've had much better experiences here in the past, so this was a surprise. I think the waitresses need to be trained to comp some food when the food is this slow and lacking ingredients. Paid ~$75 plus $12 tip for a sub-par experience. That should have been $50 and I would have walked out happy. Instead, I'm questioning if it's worth it to go back, because they won't be around long doing this.
