If I lived here, I would come here every week, but I'm from out of town. We came here and ordered blue gill, catfish, Mahi Mahi, and perch. Each fish was seasoned, breaded, and fried to perfection and without a doubt, I can say this was the best fish I've ever eaten from a shop.
The food is always good and seasoned perfectly.. if you don’t like waiting call ahead 20 minutes is the normal wait time.

I would like to rate their food however they kept putting me on hold and not coming back to me. I waited 15 minutes to place an order and no one would pick up. They asked me if I could hold and I said no and I was put on hold anyway. Don't think I will be trying this restaurant ever.

They ignore certain people we have witnessed this on more than one occasion. Also they do not know who ordered what and don’t start the orders in order they were received.

I ordered the 3/4 lb smelt basket with Cajun seasoning. Everything was absolutely perfect. Couldn't ask for better. I'll definitely be a regular customer, when visiting

After searching for the best fried chicken in Grand Rapids, I found this place and decided to give it a try.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was warmly greeted and felt very welcome.
I ordered 8 pieces of dark meat, resisting the temptation to get some seafood as well.
My order was ready in 20 minutes, just as promised.
Back in my truck, I eagerly dug into my meal.
Knowing what good fried chicken tastes like, I was thrilled to find it was absolutely delicious—tasty, crispy, and juicy.
Will I return ? Absolutely, I can’t wait for my next visit !
