First visit to GRNoir for my birthday. We loved the atmosphere, music was amazing. Food was well presented, however the bruschetta was served with Parmesan cheese but was definitely not listed on the menu. When I mentioned to our server that cheese wasn’t listed as an ingredient on the menu his response was ‘are you sure about that?’ To preserve the mood and avoid conflict we ordered and paid for an additional plate with no cheese.
I recommend that management review the menu and update the ingredient list for the bruschetta and train staff accordingly.

Dietary restrictions: Very few vegan options, be sure to inquire about ALL ingredients as some dishes are not represented correctly.

I want to love this place, but of the five times I have gone, I can only report one visit that didn’t have any issues. Two times I went with friends, and were not informed about the cover charges being added to our bill. Three times I went by myself, two of the times I was asked by the owner to move seats (after I asked him where I should sit!!!) and on one occasion had been asked to switch seats three times at the bar by the owner to accommodate others. I am kind enough to move, but when I have a flight or two and a few plates of food in front of me, and it’s the second time in one night… that’s just plain ridiculous! Then on the third occasion I was completely ignored the whole evening. I sat at the bar for over an hour and didn’t get served on. I knew they were busy, but what solidified it for me was when the couple that sat down next to me at the bar got waited on and served within 30 minutes (they complained to me about how long they had to wait, too, but at least they got service). I wish I could rank them better and I want to like this place, but it is one huge disappointment.

Came in on a whim a few weeks ago and they gave us their live music schedule. Came back during the live music and loved it. The atmosphere is great, and they have a nice selection of wine.

Private party. The attention to our group was outstanding. Everyone was very welcoming and attentive. We were able to order off the menu which was a bonus. We had great entertainment by a father/daughter jazz duo.

This is one of my favorite spots in GR! The wine selection is great and the small plates are really good with a lot of attention to detail. My favorites are the chicken and waffles and the sliders. If you do not drink wine they have lovely Moscato to choose from. The staff is very friendly and the music (live bands and/or DJ Martin) creates am atmosphere you just want to be in.

We went for the live Jazz, the food and wine were great. The atmosphere was a bit different from most live jazz we’ve been to, most people were talking instead of listening to the music, but that might have been a fluke for the night.

Service is poor and the staff does not know how to manage tables and incoming patrons. Too bad that we never got seated when groups who arrived after us with no reservation got seated.
