I have been wanting to come to GRNoir since I first heard about it. A jazz club in Grand Rapids with wine?! Count me in! The ambiance is exceptional and the service was amazing. The only downside is that the wine is pricey, but it is worth it to splurge if you are listening to high-quality live music as well!

This is one of my favorite spots in GR! The wine selection is great and the small plates are really good with a lot of attention to detail. My favorites are the chicken and waffles and the sliders. If you do not drink wine they have lovely Moscato to choose from. The staff is very friendly and the music (live bands and/or DJ Martin) creates am atmosphere you just want to be in.

Food and service were fantastic. Owner was very accommodating and friendly. Music was phenomenal. Shout out to Sabrina and the Danny Richardson quartet! Absolutely first class. Looking forward to seeing you in Detroit!

Great selection of wine. Nice atmosphere includes several seating options. It is a cozy place to listen to live jazz music. $15 per person cover is worth it if this is your vibe.

We went for the live Jazz, the food and wine were great. The atmosphere was a bit different from most live jazz we’ve been to, most people were talking instead of listening to the music, but that might have been a fluke for the night.

Service is poor and the staff does not know how to manage tables and incoming patrons. Too bad that we never got seated when groups who arrived after us with no reservation got seated.

Great place, and the owner is very involved in the operation. The band we saw was a talented group of musicians. Check the website for dates and make reservations. Last minute night out might not work. Seating is always near full.

Very good sweet wine flight. The chicken and waffles, as well as the chocolate cake, were all delicious. Lost a star due to staff attitude, getting RSVP in, their Seize the Deal details, and costs. The girl who greeted me and say me was super nice and helpful. The bartender however came off as passive, many times just standing in the back and enjoying the jazz show instead of filling my water when it was empty with my meal. The girl ended up helping more even though I don't think she was a bartender?By the time my friend and I could actually get a RSVP in for right before the jazz music starts, my Seize the Deal ended up expiring. Not many spots for RSVP with the live jazz music considering the amount of seating there is ridiculously small. Then they closed 2 days due to weather when I could have easily gone with my very-modified. They will not let you use the amount you paid to get the Seize the Deal.Overall the food was great and the live music was great. Everything else could be much improved, especially considering how known they are in town. Don't waste your money on their Seize the Deal since they don't opt in for a decent amount of days for use (for example, I have one for a different company that gave ne like 5 or 6 months to use). Especially since you will already have to pay a bit just to get a small amount of food plus the $15 cover charge per person when applicable.

The music was outstanding! The wine was very good. The food menu needs a little improvement. Great location. The atmosphere is nice but I'd like to see it cozied up. More soft surfaces and dim the lights. Again, I will say the wine selection is excellent! Please visit this place. We need them in Grand Rapids. Go for drinks before dinner or go for drinks after dinner. The Banana Pudding is to die for!
