The entrees were absolutely beautifully crafted. They looked amazing and were extremely delicious. You would have paid double or triple for them at another restaurant. The desserts were equally beautiful and delicious. We tried (shared) two desserts and entrees and all were amazing. The soup was also very good. This was a pairing event. The students pair a tapas with a beer or wine. It was sort of a charity event in that it was $100 per person for a buffet. Translate that to $20 per tapas/beer. The idea was good. BUT, the food was mostly cold! no good. Don't the staff teach temperatures in the first day of class? The potato with cilantro crema was a winner. The steak slider was the loser. Tuff and cold.
We had not been here in years! It was a great experience with exceptional food at reasonable prices. I like the idea of giving students such hands-on experience. Our servers were very good. We especially enjoyed William's personable responses to all of our questions. I wish they were open for dinner and that they served the beer that the students make in the restaurant.
