We really enjoyed this place. We went there mid-day on a Wednesday and the bartender was great. She was very knowledgeable on each item on the drink menu. The Sour Beers were delicious.

I enjoyed our time here. Great atmosphere. Staff was friendly. Their cosmic fries are very interesting - beer battered fried and seasoned with lemon pepper. Surprisingly large place. We went on a slow Monday night. Their craft beer selection was great. I was impressed with the complexity of a couple of the flavors. Will definitely have to come back to try more.

In town for a wedding and received a recommendation to check out HopCat. Great service. Fantastic list of drafts. If you like Sours-there are several options. We stuck to appetizers for food (get the sampler). Def don’t miss out on dessert-the brownie was perfect way to end the night.

I was in town visiting my daughter at GVSU. I wanted to visit a cool local bar in Grand Rapids, and I saw this cool bar that had a cool logo. I decided to stop by to pick up some beer to go. The bartender seemed annoyed with my request and was very short with me. I did get a couple of cans to go, but she killed my experience. I will most likely hit another spot that has friendlier bartenders. The picture of can is at entrance to the football field at GVSU. Go Lakers.

Hannah, the bar tender, was able to read all of my non-verbal body language when I was trying to get her attention and she always approached us with a smile. She, and she alone, made this experience memorable. Don’t let her go. Do what it takes to keep her. I will come back just for her.
