Went to HopCat on St. Patrick’s day weekend during Irish on Ionia. The place was crazy busy but our bartender, Kasey was efficient, patient and so kind. She never made us feel rushed even with how much she had going on. Great service! Thank you Kasey!! ?
Amazing experience, Nick was our server and he did fantastic. Was very positive and friendly and was very attentive to getting us refills and making sure that we did not need anything. Our family loves Hop Cat and this was our first time at this one! Totally would come again! Thanks for the awesome experience!
Went here for the first time yesterday. Our server was rude and unwelcoming, and halfway through serving us told us she was giving our table to someone else but she continued serving other tables in our section? Never had that happen but whatever our next server was much nicer. Waited a really long time for food to come out and when it did, one of our meals was brought to us on a dirty dish, it had dried up food crusted all over it. When we told the server, she didn’t apologize or anything, she just said well it’s gonna be a while for them to make more just so you know. Also, when the guy brought the food he brought 2 meals that we didn’t order so he took them back, and 5 minutes later another guy came out of the kitchen asking us what was missing, we told him what we ordered and he said oh well we just brought that out to you and they said you told them you didn’t order it. So the guy that brought the food didn’t know what was on the plates because he listed two different meals than what we ordered so of course we sent it back, so then they went back to the kitchen and brought us those same plates that had now been sitting there the whole time. So needless to say the food was cold. Just an overall disappointing experience, would not recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing Pickleback Chicken sandwich with cosmic fries. The sweet/savory black pepper seasoning hits so hard. Super friendly bartender and great atmosphere. Will be back. Amanda is the GOAT.
