We celebrated our staff gathering here with about 12 people. The food was amazing once it reached our table but for some it took their food longer than others to come out. The server did pretty good being available and assisting us when we needed refills etc.

Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and it was burnt and did not taste well. I also got sick for three days after. I will never eat here again.

Always a fan of their happy hour! 32 oz long island for $5 is awesome and quite tasty!! Also enjoyed the ahi tuna appetizer for the first time and it was yummy!! Wings and fries are always a winner too!!

All you can eat soup and salad is the way to go! If you have not had the tomatoe bisque with grilled cheese balls yet, you have not had soup. Delish.

One of my favorite restaurants in town. The atmosphere is so nice and modern but still has that cozy feel that you can bring your friends and hang out with. My favorite dish was the almond crusted tilapia on a bed of asparagus and mixed berries. They discontinued that dish but there are so many options for all types of diets. Love love this place.

Walked in at 4:15 on a Saturday night and they were maybe 25% full, if that. Asked for a table for 6 and a high chair or booster. I was asked if we had a reservation and we did not. She left to talk to someone and came back and told us because there was a reservation near where we would need to be because of a high chair it would be around an hour for us. I then asked about a booster and we would have to be in two booths. I'm confused how when you have 80% of your seating in the non-bar side open I have to wait an hour to eat. 6 people isn't an odd number of people to come in. It's outrageous that you cannot accommodate 6 people when you are slow.

Their Hamburgers at lunch are divine. Cooked to your liking and exceptional with their toppings. Also their sweet potato fries with horseradish sauce for dipping is excellent.

As a family, Houlihan's is our go to place to share a meal and relax. We have been dining at this location since it opened. Last night was a disaster. They ran out of pasta, so our meal took a long time. My burger was placed under the heat lamps and came out as a well done hockey puck. I get the burger all the time and I believe it's the best in town. Not tonight, so I send it back and ended up leaving without dinner. On top of that, both my daughter's meals had under-cooked pasta, and they had to order something else. Not happy. Btw, what is with the small cups of ketchup? Bottles would be so much better because contamination on top of the ketchup cups happens.

Great food, friendly environment and wait staff. Would definitely recommend! Good drink selection as well!

It’s really hard to have a good experience here unless you sit in the bar area. I’ve been here 10 plus times. The service is super hit or miss. One time i had to wait over 30 minutes for my bill. Other times service was okay. The food isn’t that great. Their menu hasn’t changed much. I enjoy their happy hour specials. The bartender who wears a vest every time I’m there has never been nice. He’s always rude. I don’t come here unless my friends want to come here because it close to our houses.

I always walk into houlihan's feeling optimistic and I never fail to leave disappointed. I rarely get a good drink, a friendly waiter, or a tasty dish. I'm just being honest. Grand Rapids has many fine restaurants. Keep looking...

Although we really appreciate the free birthday dinner, this year we were not happy with the service. We had to wait at the entrance for awhile for a hostess to appear, once seated, we were not waited on for 15 minutes, finally had to ask hostess for a server. Others came in and were waited on immediately. Had to wait a long time for our food, and when finally received it, it was delicious! I thank you again for the free dinner.

After seating, no one came to help us for a long time. Food was a bad value. The attached picture was what I got, as it was placed in front of me without me messing with it. This is the chicken fingers dinner with honey mustard and asparagus - cost for that plate is $15.25. No checks for food, no offers for wine refill or water refill. The only server who seemed to care about us was the really tall dude. He was cool. Even normal service and normal value would be fine. Why, Houlihan's, why?
