I’ve ordered items from this location 3 times and have not have a bad time of it. I will say that the last time I ordered, I got a stuffed Howie bread, which was everything I dreamed it would be ✨, but I was anticipatory 😝 so I went to pick it up early and waited in my car. I saw them place the box in the heating lamp/shelf thingy, but my app never updated. I waited a few minutes and thought hmmm maybe that’s not mine, but the time had passed on the Howie tracker in the app where they said it would be ready so I went in to make my presence known. The box I saw from my car was indeed my order. It wasn’t cold yet, but basically I’m saying that if you’re going for pick up, the app doesn’t update in real time, so I’d just go inside to get it even if it doesn’t say it’s ready, so you can get the freshest pizza!
In the two orders I have pictured here, one was from November where I got the chicken and waffles pizza (no chicken bc I don’t eat meat- so basically waffles pizza 🤪) and it was delicious. I ended up ordering it a second time- if you don’t get the chicken, it’s essentially a dessert pizza which reminded me of the old dessert pizzas at another restaurant which shall not be named in this review, that used to have full dining room service with an epic buffet. If you know, you know. Anyway, I’m sure if you get the actual chicken and waffles pizza, and you like that kind of thing, you’ll love this pizza.
My second order pictured, I got the 3 cheese stuffed Howie bread. Check my video for cheese pull 🧀 😎. It was perfect. Everything I dreamed of in the moment.
I don’t order often from Hungry Howie’s but honestly every time I do, I’m reminded of the superiority in crust flavoring and I question myself as to why I don’t return more often.

Parking: Plenty of parking in the free parking lot. This is not a sit down place, so there aren’t many people parked at any given time as it’s just for pick up orders or delivery.

Super pleased with the service at this location. Ordered online for delivery. Eta was 45 minutes and it was in my hand in about 30 minutes. Order was correct. The pizza was delicious. The delivery driver was friendly. No complaints.

I ordered three pizzas and a deep dish cheese bread. I typically go to the location on Plainfield and receive much better food. Here I had ordered extra seasoning on the crust, and when I got home and begin eating, I realized the crust had barely any seasoning at all, and was quite disappointed, however my order was on the slightly larger side and I understand that they were only an hour away from closing. Maybe it just wasn’t their night.

This place is terrible, do not go here or ever plan to go here. The service is awful. I was having a small party on 7-18-24. I had an order queued up for several hours online with an online deal of 51% off. When I went to place my order I got an error. I tried again, I got another error. I reloaded the page, I kept getting a cloud error. I then contacted my local store in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Lake Michigan dr. and they said their system was out, but I could place a cash only order over the phone, but they refused to honor the 51% online coupon. Even though the system outage was not my fault. It's not that hard to add a discount that the company was offering. It ruined my entire party.
I use to give this place a lot higher marks in the past but now it is so inconsistent I think I'm being generous giving 2 stars. One of our goto pizzas is a large ham, onion, green olive with garlic herb crust. As the price continues to go up the amount of ingredients go down, so much so you can hardly tell which pizza you're eating. This time it was so obvious the pizza was lacking ingredients we actually counted I green olives, 12 tiny little olives on a large pizza and the ham seemed nonexistent, couldn't see it couldn't taste it. The flavored crust was not there either, they either forgot it or put so little on you couldn't taste that either. They've raised the prices to the point that they are now on par with the higher quality pizza joints, which is what we will be getting from now on. You did it to yourself Howie boy.
