We bought a fresh pizza slice to go this afternoon. There was a sharp piece of plastic, just over 1cm by 2cm in size, cooked right into the pizza. Horrocks asked us to bring the piece of plastic back, which we already did. Its an hour drive. They refused to compensate us for this. Is horrocks no longer the best?? I hope not. Do better.

Drove to satisfy my craving and the gelato looked so good. I came in at 9:40 and they told me they close “around 9 or 10.” Please have accurate hours so customers don’t waste time driving :(

A while ago, our family discovered that Iorio Gelato (from Ann Arbor) was being scooped and sold inside Horrock's Market in Kentwood (Breton near 44th St.), and it's absolutely amazing! This artisan gelato is some of the best I've had locally, and their rotating and seasonal flavor offerings are nothing short of creative and delicious. Some of the flavors have included: peanut butter, espresso, salted caramel, panna cotta, tiramisu, dark chocolate, mint, cookie butter, blood orange sorbetto, stracciatella, strawberry sorbetto, limoncello, dulce de leche, Madagascar vanilla, and many more! The Horrocks employees serving the gelato are consistently friendly and helpful and small samples are available if you're having trouble committing to your flavor picks. They have several sizes available, but I often go for the small ($3.50), happily choosing 2 flavors and the portions are consistently very generous. I'd highly recommend a trip to Horrock's to try this fantastic gelato, and if you've been there before, certainly return to try new-to-you flavors. Iorio's is indeed the real deal!

Pretty good gelato! Bonus that they keep equipment clean between batches (I have a nut allergy). Cookie monster is the flavor I got and it was really good (in picture).

If you are no longer offering cones, please stop using them on your signage and remove them from behind the counter. If your employees are asked why, please have them give a reason rather than "we just aren't 'doing' cones anymore." This is a silly thing to complain about--I agree! But it's a little annoying.
