Delicious sushi and shamishi. We had yellowpeno and red dragon. Sergio is wells super fast and friendly.

My first time trying this place and was very excited to try it for lunch. Unfortunately, the Philadelphia roll was incredibly mediocre and not better than Meijer. I also got the lunch Hibachi special and the chicken fried rice was minimally flavorful and looked like it was something you could get at a mall. Lastly, my miso soup was only filled halfway at pick up. Very much not worth the price and wouldn't recommend to others.

Cute environment, but unfortunately I ended up throwing most of it out.

They are both exceptional.

This place was amazing and the sushi is so delicious, the pictures do not do it justice! The staff is beyond friendly, and the atmosphere is very personal and cozy. I would definitely recommend it, and I can't wait to go back for more!!

The Korean dish I got was really delicious. Not overly spicy with the sauce. That was a bonus. The salad was alright..

Loved the food! I got a yum yum roll and edamame and it was great! Mostly enjoyed the conversation that I had with the host when I first entered! Teagan was her name, I believe. If the boss reads this, please give her a raise!

The miso soup and salad was amazing, the salmon roll had a decent taste, but was a tad fishery than I prefer. The sushi itself was HUGE and overloaded to the point it was hard to pick up with the chopsticks, made me kinda laugh seeing how large the bites were. The salmon nigiri was honestly not the best, the skin was left on a lot of the pieces, and it was so tough I had to grind my teeth into it and rip it to take a bite. Which made every piece completely fall apart when I tried to eat it. Normally it’s like biting into butter when I get nigiri. The sushi also has a slight slimy texture to it, as well as a more potent fishy smell. At my normal sushi spot, Ginza, I hardly smell the fish and it NEVER has a slimy texture. This was my second time here and it was the second time I kinda felt like I had to force the meal down because of how much I spent. The fish just didn’t taste fresh. And it was very tough to bite through and eat.

So caring for their customers. I had ordered a Michigan roll and a drink through door dash and had not one but 3 of my dashers pick up my order and take off with it. I called and they said that they can’t keep re making the orders and I asked if they’d try it one last time because I had another dasher that confirmed my order to pick it up. They were so kind to try for the last time! They made my night and my work shift go a little more smoother🫶🏼

I love Jaku! I always order take out from this location but they seem to forget my sauce often & it really takes away from the meal. I ordered hibachi & didn't get any yum yum or brown sauce with it & it did not taste the same without it.

Best sushi in town hands down!! My family loves coming here especially my kids ask every so often if they can go to Jaku for dinner. Every time we come in, the food is always fresh and service is spectacular. This place is a hidden gem that I don’t want to share especially for sushi. 😘

Our group really enjoyed Jaku Sushi. We would love to return. Food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Service was helpful and pleasant. Space was contemporary and attractive. Prices seemed a bit high, especially for lunch. But everything was on point.

I got take out and the sushi came out warm. Sushi is supposed to be cold. I got a traditional role that’s pretty difficult to mess up but they did. I got the avocado and cucumber rolls and the rice was disgusting and half the rolls didn’t actually have avocado in them. Super disappointed and won’t be buying from them again.
