Always amazing

My order was not correct. I had ordered my burrito with everything, but it did not have everything. And it wasn't a way to check without breaking it open.
So I got what I wanted, but not what I wanted.
Or should I say not the way I wanted it besides that? If it's a regular, busy place
And I woulda enjoyed my food more if it was made. The way I wanted it.

The owners are the nicest people ever. I came in with a food allergy and they let me read the ingredient labels, I have never felt so safe eating at a restaurant. Also just some of the kindest and funniest people to talk to. We had a party of 12 and they still brought our food out so fast. Amazing restaurant

I use to come all the time and always tipping. Until after I felt unappreciated I found hair in my food they still made me pay for it instead of taking it off my bill. And the tostadas are even smaller. Stop running off good customers smh

It looks almost right when you walk in. Don't let that fool you. I asked if they had aguas frescas, the dude said they had Kool aid. That should have been my sign to leave immediately. But no, I actually ate. Steak tostadas and a wet burrito. Straight trash. No seasoning, a gravy like sauce on the burrito that was gross, pretty sure all their cheese is shredded Velveeta on top of it. And I cannot stress enough that one should not cook lettuce and tomato in a burrito, which they also did. If I could give negative stars, I would.

I called ahead to place my order. Large wet burrito, no veggies... on my way there I Decided to add to my order so I called added a half order of tostadas. No problem, got there...My order was ready. Great customer service. Hot food. No complaints.

Their food tastes like it just came out from somebody's grandma's kitchen. Nothing is fancy here, just letting you decide if the food is good enough to come back for.

For Grand Rapids Michigan to be the home of the wet burrito, I was terribly disappointed! The only thing I can say is that burrito was garbage! The sauce was watered down the tortilla was doughy and no flavor at all. The original burrito was served with pico de gallo and sour cream with your choice of verde. When I asked for them they said it cost a dollar for each one! I was flabbergasted. So I asked around for who had the best wet burrito. Everyone told me there aren't any anymore! The Beltine Bar used to be the best place in town and now they are even worse than Jose's! So it looks like I will have to make them at home!
Please don't waste your money or your time!

Been seeing this spot for decades,glad to say I decided to stop in and was very satisfied with customer service and the food,been here since the 80s good in my opinion! Keep it at Jose's...

I ordered a takeout Taco dinner it was terrible the meat was cold and had no seasoning it’s not the same. I use to come here a lot so I know how the taco were and how they are now. I don’t know if Angie still owns this but it has changed. I want be going back there! I wasted $15 on I did not eat that!

The only thing wet about this burrito was the bland meat. Didn’t come with any sauce. Who puts square cheese on a burrito? Very odd. Overall I was not satisfied.
