Küsterer Brauhaus is such a unique, authentic Brauhaus experience right here in West Michigan. Having just went to my first Oktoberfest in Munich, it is admiral how much detail and passion goes into Küsterer . The beer, space, hospitality and people are so nice (genuinely). I have even exchanged emails with Dave, and he couldn't have been more kind and helpful. There's something to be said about having passion behind any sort of business, and that they do. Go enjoy, notice the details, try a variety of authentic German style beers, and indulge in the experience!

Daughter kept hyping up Apfelwein she had in Frankfurt. I stumbled across KB looking for cider places. Apfelwein on the menu! What a fun surprise! Far better than the cider place we visited next and tried a 6 cider flight. We only wish we could’ve brought some home in a growler 😞 but I suppose we’ll have to return :)

Visited with extended family including one from Germany. We picked the Brauhaus because of the menu and were somewhat disappointed with the bar food type of cooking and delivery. Everyone got a different food item and so we covered the spectrum. There were several parties going on and it appeared for the most part we were the only people ordering food. The staff was helpful and timely but we did get a pretty good chuckle when using German and the blank look about the discussion in spite of the signs all over saying they speak German. Would visit again for the beer but would not recommend for a German dinner. Bar food is just that - our mistake in assuming it was something more. Overall the group enjoyed the visit.

They have snacks but not an actual kitchen. The pretzel wasnt bad though. The beer was good too

This place was great. Great beer, the Donner brought me right back to Hamburg. Great friendly place to watch Futbol and the service was excellent. They were so friendly and even spoke German fluently. Will definitely come here again.

Had the original hefe and dunkel. Both were fantastic! I’m so glad to have a traditional German beer hall in the area. Saw the döner kebab on the menu and got super excited (after gorging on them in Spain)…but they were out. Waiting to hear any reviews on it.
