Great sushi restaurant. Rolls are unique and tasty

Kawa Sushi was so good! The whole place has an upscale, polished feel without being stuffy. Sat in their little three-seasons room, which was perfect for a summer day—bright, airy, and super comfortable. The gyoza appetizer was incredible—crispy, flavorful, and definitely a must-try. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. Highly recommend when you’re craving quality sushi in a great setting.

Aesthetically beautiful and fast service—love that combo! 💫 I was a little skeptical about getting sushi in Michigan after just coming back from Japan… BUT OMG this was insanely good and fresh!! Like, mouth-watering, “take me back immediately” good 🍣

I had the miso soup (tasty and comforting), matcha tea (perfectly earthy), 8-piece sashimi (gorgeous and fresh), and one salmon belly nigiri that was so tender and fatty in the best possible way. My mouth is watering just writing this. Oh, and they freshly grated the wasabi 😦 It was so fresh and flavorful!

This place is honestly underrated. Everyone needs to try this spot out - it’s that good ⭐️

Outstanding food and service! The Ultimate Kawa roll and the Kawai Roll were fire! The Ube cheesecake was the perfect way to end the meal.

We recently moved from Chicago and this place gives Chicago vibes! So yummy!

Restaurant is very clean, and has good music. The presentation of the food was delightful. The wait staff is attentive and food was served quickly.

My new fav sushi spot. The Kawa ultimate roll is the best sushi I’ve ever had. And the yuzu blueberry matcha cheesecake is incredible. Service was great too. Definitely stop in!!

Loved the vibe, all of the staff were incredibly friendly and upbeat. The food did not disappoint, can’t wait to come back, this is definitely our new go to sushi spot!

I don't usually go out of my way to write a review, with that said the whole experience was fantastic! The only disappointment was how empty the establishment was. I hope to see it substantially more full on our next visit

I’ve been here twice in the week they’ve been open - once for carry out and once for sit down dinner service. Both times I’ve loved the food, service, and atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and attentive. The menu is interesting and delicious. I love their house rolls. Can’t wait to come back and I hope that they find success here. Definitely stop by!
