Always tastes great, especially making your own sauce.
So this place is pretty decent for Korean bbq. They normally gas grills. In S Korea the real bbq places use charcoal. The meat and veggies seemed good quality. For $30 person unlimited cant beat the price. Our server was good and would recommend trying with this with a group.
Good food and nice service.
6 stars! All the stars!
Our server was Michael, and he took fantastic care of us. There were SO many great and varied options to choose from, in addition to a sauce bar that was also accompanied by appetizers like crap wantons and egg rolls. So yummy! 10/10 would go back!
Truly the superior Korean bbq and hot pot option in town. Incredible and friendly service, high quality food that tastes great, and you can mix broths! This is our go-to for special occasions and just for catching up with friends. Photo is of the best broth combo, healthy herbs+spicy szechuan (I forgot to take a photo until after I ate, was too excited lol).
Food was super 🔥🔥🔥. Service was excellent. Can't wait to go back . It was worth every cent I spent..
For awhile we had come to King Pot for our hot pot and KBBQ fix. The hot and cold bar and sauces had good options. The chicken wings have gone downhill recently, though. But the worst of it all- which really makes or breaks your experience- is the service. We had the worst service we’ve ever experienced. Our server, Tori, was extremely unfriendly and cold. When we got to the table she never asked us how we were doing, or if we have been there before. She just introduced herself and asked us if we were ready to order. Now we are regulars so we know our orders, but what if we still wanted a minute to look over the menu? What if we were not regulars and needed an intro to what hot pot or KBBQ is? She asked all of this as soon as we sat down; we didn’t have a minute to even taken a jacket off or get settled. In addition, she never took our drink order and after taking our order, returned with two glasses of water. What if I wanted to drink something else? Throughout our meal, we felt rushed as she would awkwardly walk by for no reason or stare at us from the kitchen while she was texting and scrolling on her phone. She never smiled at us once or made us feel welcome. And when she would return to ask us if we wanted anything else it wasn’t a “can I get you anything?” It was a “do you want anything else?” In a hurry up I want you out of here way. Overall, it was a very unpleasant meal and we’re afraid that that experience alone has turned us away from going to King Pot again.
Love this place I've visited a couple times since it opened. There are two vegetarian options for soup bases and lots of vegetarian ingredients to add. I love the free buffet with snacks, desert and sauces. Service has always been good as well.
Absolutely my favorite place to go and take friends. I've been here many times and plan to go again soon. The food is delicious, the appetizer / sauce bar is fun and full of options. The price is fair, the staff are kind and the overall environment is great for getting people together. I recommend going for the dinner menu which has more options and is definitely worth the extra couple of dollars.

The best hot pot / korean bbq in town by far. Great lunch prices, we love the spicy hot pot and the complementary salad/dessert bar. They do get busy during dinner time, but usually no wait during lunch.

This is the second time we've gone here, and it's always so much fun. We've gone as a group both times, and everyone at the table much match dining options; hotpot, Korean BBQ, or both. We've opted to do both on the two occasions we've gone, and I more than feel like you get your money's worth, so long as you go in with an empty stomach and take advantage of all you can on the menu!
The meats and veggies are both fresh and high-quality, and the hotpot soup bases are WONDERFUL (I've ordered the miso, but I tried a sample of the Szechuan and the Kingpot (a type of pho beef) soup bases and they were both lovely. I also love that they have a condiment bar off to the side so that you can mix and match your favorite condiments, sauces, or additional toppings to your heart's content. It's much better than having to ask for a handful of different condiments, you can just mix together what you like at your convenience!
Overall, I really like coming here. It's a bit on the pricier side, but given how many options are available to you, and the style of eatery that it is, it makes sense. This is more of a "treat yourself" restaurant than your average takeaway, and I appreciate that what it does, it does really well. I will definitely be back!
