This was my FIRST time trying Thai food and I am so happy this was the restaurant I picked for my first experience. Everything was incredible and I’m honestly upset that I’ve been missing out for so long ! The Pad Thai was hot and tasted so good ! Never had anything like it! The crab ran-goons were also so good perfect amount of filling and even the sauce that they come with was so good! Thank you so much for such an amazing meal! I will be ordering again in the future!

This is 100% the best Thai food in Grand Rapids and it’s not even close. I’ve had my fair share of Thai food throughout Michigan and this is the only place that gets the flavors correct. We don’t go to any other place.

Amazing food! The only complaint I have is the tofu flavor was very greasy and bitter. I got the peanut pad Thai. Amazing flavor of the sauce!

Our server was attentive and prompt. The Thai Tea and Thai Coffee were both good, and coconut milk was an option for dairy sensitive people like myself. The food came out very quickly, the portions were generous and the flavor was so good! Fresh bean sprouts, lime, green onions, and crushed peanuts garnished the Pad Thai and there was lots of flavor from the noodles and sauce. The Rainbow Paradise was a tasty dish too and had more of a tropical vibe with pineapple & mango. I will definitely be stopping again when I am in the area!

I came here pre 2020 all the time, then tried a few times in recent years and it was so bad. But... I came back twice last night and today, because it tastes exactly like it used to! so exceptionally amazingly flavorful. my tastebuds danced and sang my whole meal. vegan massaman curry is top tier. service while dining in is top notch. I am so happy to have this staple thai restaurant back. vegan veggie rolls are so good too i could eat 5 million. I love you Lai Thai.

Lai Thai has become a staple for take out food for us! The portion sizes are quite large & the food is always excellent + consistent. Staff are very friendly. So glad they added boba to the menu!!

This is a multi Asian style restaurant. The Thai food is horribly prepared and not culturally correct. I had the Penang curry and there was no sauce, it came out as soup. The second dish had peanut sauce and it was unrecognizable, a goopy gelatinous mess barely resembling anything peanut. Pick what you want to make, but don't try to attempt Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese etc. They are all very different and the cooks are definitely not Thai at this restaurant. I will say they removed my entree and I reordered and that did was fair. I do not recommend this restaurant for authentic Asian.
