I’ve only ever gotten take out from here, but, it’s the best vegan Thai food/food category adjacent take out I have had in Michigan. So many people praise Bangkok Thai downtown GR but they never fully season their vegan dishes and this place actually does, they don’t skimp of flavor and texture even with the plant based substitutes. I 10/10 recommend.

My daughter is gone here for a couple of years from Cornerstone University grabbing takeout. She decided she wanted to come here for her 23rd birthday. We had an awesome time. We had four different dishes and each one of them we've tasted and they were all fantastic. Generous portions each have their own flavor profile. We went either medium or mild heat impact and nothing was overpowering. We definitely will be coming back here. Inside was a very cute including including the walkthrough at a very cute Halloween decor. Do the owner great job!!

The fresh rolls were to die for. The peanut sauce was so good. The crispy veggies, the fried tofu, and the herbs, rolled big and fat into a fresh roll, divine. The Pad Kee Mao was so flavorful and with the smaller noodles, there was lots of sauce to go around. Yummy veggies and just the right amount of spice. Ordered the yellow Curry and the flavor was true to form but with a tasty and sweet coconut milk.

This is hands down the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I find myself coming back almost every week because everything on the menu is incredible, but their peanut pad thai is on a whole different level rich, flavorful, and absolutely addictive. The staff is always warm and welcoming, and the food is consistently fresh and perfectly prepared. Honestly, if I ever get married, Lai Thai will be catering my wedding 😉

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Try the shrimp soup, medium heat, or the red curry! Also, the coconut fried rice with chicken will keep you coming back for more.
