Lovely little spot. The Lengua taco was yummy, and the carnitas out of this world.

Unfortunately, this was the worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten in GR. Went here last night for birria and it was not good. The consome tasted like beef broth with no extra spices or seasonings, the cheese tasted very strange and didn’t taste like a traditional Mexican cheese (chihuahua, Oaxaca, etc) but instead tasted like cheap mozzarella sticks with no cheese pull, and the actual birria was somehow dry and kept sticking in my teeth like beef jerky (the birria, which I barely got any of in my tacos, also had little to no flavor which was shocking since I’ve been to ‘gringo’ taco places that have used more spices than this place). The birria trio was also $18 which I didn’t feel was worth it since most places have it for around $15. I wanted to like this place so badly because I hadn’t been here since pre-Covid but it seems to be just another restaurant whose quality went down by 70% and the prices have gone up another 30%. So sad to see this place go downhill so badly but I knew I should’ve trusted the bad reviews. I won’t be returning and will be telling fellow friends to avoid this spot and get more authentic tacos elsewhere (which there seems to be plenty on division so don’t even waste your time here and drive about 2-3 mins down for the good stuff) or better yet go to Trader Joe’s for their birria which is miles more flavorful.

The food was not good, the chicharron was stale but the lady was friendly, seating was not very comfortable.
First time here, excellent food, large menu so excited to come back and try more. Birria tacos were phenomenal, elote was delicious too. Definitely recommend.
You love desserts, this is the right place 100% recommended.
This place is a honest 10/10

So I went around 3 p.m. and got a carrot orange juice and corn in a cup. Tasty, quick, and effective snacks.

Great little hole in the wall on a side street. Pretty busy but still has the food ready when I go to pick up my order.
