Last Mile Cafe is a great spot. The LMC team makes excellent drinks to be sure. But there's so much more. Community-focused, they use their space for events and are highly engaged in community affairs. They take sustainability seriously in their practices; the only business their size I know of that runs metrics and puts out an impact report. One of the most telling indicators for me is that every time I'm there, I meet an interesting person. It's that kind of a place. Grand Rapids is fortunate to have Last Mile Cafe and its people!

This is the best little coffee shop in town! The owners and staff are friendly, give good service, and are a pleasure to be around! I love that it is woman and black owned, and it is affirming as well. Every time I go there I feel better when I leave! Oh, and their coffee is amazing!

I had their smores latte! The best flavored latte I ever tasted! Pleasant staff. An artist was painting a picture with two of his children. His wife was there as well The children were so well behaved, very friendly. The mom dad were very supportive, and patient with their children as they painted.
My husband and I stopped at Fulton Market yesterday and wanted to get coffee and we love supporting small. This place was set up right when we walked in. I paid $7.50 for milk with a splash of cold brew. The gentleman filled the cup with ice and put about 2oz of cold brew and filled it up with milk. I wish I had a picture because I am not exaggerating and did not intend to leave a review but it was overpriced to not even taste the cold brew. My husband got a hot, black coffee and he was happy with it.
