My family and I ate at Leo's Coney Island last night. I got a turkey melt. Was not pleased with it. Bread came toasted and cheese 1/2 melted BUT the meat was FRESH OUT OF THE REFRIGERATOR COLD COLD COLD on warm bread. Thought turkey MELT, meant WARM at least. Had to ask waitress to microwave it just so I could eat it. Wasn't even busy. Like 3 other people/families in there. So WHY the COLD meat on warm sandwich? Odd!
We are a Greek family and love the Greek dishes that Leo's Coney Island offers. We have dined there frequently, often bring friends. The food is always good and the service fantastic. That being said; however, we have decided not to dine there any longer during the cold months, as the owner chooses to keep the dining room quite frigid.

chili dogs are great. now, let's get down and dirty about their biggest rip off...their Gyro. what a RIP OFF. 3 tiny pieces of processed meat, 2 Itty bitty half slices if 1 tomato slice and maybe, this may be pushing it, two teaspoons of sauce. This was the driest, rubbery chewiest meat, the entire ting gyro sandwich was a HUGE disappointment.
