The food was okay. The salad dressing really didn’t taste as good as I thought it would but the food was fresh! The chili dog was amazing!

Came in yesterday for lunch with a co-worker. We worked through right up the street at an insurance firm so a lot of us frequent this place.

I ordered a coney dog combo and my coworker ordered a chicken tender salad. I personally thought the hot dog tasted weird, I only took two bites and decided not to eat more. After cashing out and getting outside my coworker said all of a sudden her stomach was hurting and we walked back to work and I was like I think I’m fine. We got into the office and within 20 min of sitting down I had to go to the bathroom profusely sweating, heart racing, and puking and diarrhea. After too much time in the bathroom I came back out to my desk and my coworker came up to me letting me know she was super sick now and she ended up having to go home. I did as well that is how sick we both got.

I called the restaurant to say I think we got food poisoning and the person who answered the phone said “food poisoning doesn’t come on that fast” like ummm are you sure you took the necessary food handling and safety courses?

Either way we both couldn’t eat the food we ended up taking in to go boxes as we were not risking eating more contaminated food.

Personally I will not be eating here again and I made sure our whole team knows how sick we got after eating here. I would assume you will lose a good chunk of customers from this as we are a rather large company. Please check your expiration dates, certify safe food handling and storage of food to ensure you are not serving bad food.

Emily is our favorite waitress. She is attentive, thoughtful and fun.

Very consistent menu with all the other Leo's Coney Island's we've visited in the past in the Detroit area - excellent. And the bonus here is to have a beer also!

This is one of my favorite places near the arena. Great coney offerings, Greek entrees, and breakfast all day. Plus drinks! I had the green omelette last time I was there. It has spinach, avocado, and Swiss. I upgraded to hash browns with onions for my side. Delicious! My friends also enjoyed their food, including fish and chips.

Waited 60 min for a coney dog… that’s not a typo. 60 minutes.

One of our favorite places for breakfast on Saturday morning. Food is always good.

A wonderful place to grab a quick dinner before seeing a movie. The food is great and the drinks are super reasonably priced. Plus, Gabby is the best server ever! Her positive attitude definitely improved my evening.

Been eating at various leo’s for over a decade. The downtown GR location doesn't disappoint with the great food and service you would expect PLUS a full bar. Gabby was friendly and attentive to everyone at the bar. Recommend a visit here!

I was greeted quickly and my waitress was extremely nice. I got the chocolate chip pancakes with a side of hashbrowns, which came out very quickly and tasted amazing. The rest of my group ordered breakfast as well and agreed that it’s one of the best in the area. To top everything off, they offer an excellent bar menu that promises a good time for everyone.

Recommended dishes: Onion Hash Browns, Blueberry and Strawberry Waffle Powdered & Whipped, Pancakes

Good, cheap, fast meal. I got a coney dog and chili cheese fries, both were great.
