Cool place, decent drinks. Hostess was rude and kinda killed the vibe though.

Less Traveled is a great space to meet up with friends while enjoying a cool environment. In my opinion, the drinks are very hit or miss. Our bartender was very nice and the complimentary drink samples are a neat touch.

Walked in and sat at the bar. Maybe 10 people in the entire bar. We wait. A man walks up and sits one seat away from us 5 minutes later. He’s served first. We order our drinks. We decide to get a root beer float - the alcoholic version. They say “we have to run next door for ice cream” - why don’t you have it in stock? 20 minutes later we get our drinks… and it’s just a shot. Not even a full drink. Honestly, the entire time we’re waiting was an entire buzzkill. We almost walked out, but felt bad because we had already ordered drinks. It almost seemed like the bartender was avoiding us. Wasn’t very friendly and definitely not attentive. So - that’s service.Atmosphere - basic, bland, nothing special. Such a bummer. A very cool location that has potential. Also - note - this is a Long Road distillery flagship cocktail bar. Everything is Long Road - not bad, but just to note.We were so turned off by our experience. I don’t think we’ll be going back. Try Drip Drop instead - another super cute, great atmosphere cocktail bar in SW for a better vibe, better service and delicious drinks!

My boyfriend and I stopped here on our anniversary in December and really enjoyed our experience. They are very creative with their drinks and add very cute garnishes and things of the like that fit a theme. The lighting is stunning and really sets a great vibe for an evening with your partner. They allowed me to sample their old fashioned options, which was so kind of them. I loved their old fashioned drinks so much, I bought my dad their holiday pack of 3 flavors for Christmas! He LOVES them too. Can't wait to be back!

My friend and I went to Less Traveled on the Friday before Christmas to catch up. We were there for 30 mins without being waited on and the table next to us had to flag the waitress down to order. My friend and I decided to split a snow globe drink, which was great, however after an hour of drinking and talking we had to ask for the check. We were there for a total of 1 1/2 hours and were asked to leave by the hostess because “there were parties on the waitlist”. Despite there being a table next to us that was available and a party of 6 that had arrived before us, they asked 2 females to leave when we were simply wrapping up conversation and already on the way out. After a pleasant evening of great conversation and great drinks, this definitely left a sour taste in our mouths when leaving. It was even apparent how rude they were when the single guy next to us asked “are they really kicking you out”. Definitely won’t be back for a while, if ever.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff that take the time to answer questions while crafting a delicious cocktail. Interior design is fantastic, bathrooms are clean, and the cocktails are delectable.I always support local, but they make it easy to do so.

This should have been a 5 star...I was looking forward to showing my husband this new (to me) place I had learned of from a friend. When we arrived at Less Traveled it was at the most 2/3 full. The seats in front of the window were completely empty...there were at least 4 seats at the bar and once we were seated we learned that there would have been at least 4 tables we could have sat at. The hostess explained that they had just had a rush of people, they needed to catch up, restock, etc. and we could not be seated for ten minutes...Mistake #1...we are very understanding customers who very rarely complain (I've worked in the restaurant industry for over 6 years and appreciate that things happen)...you should have sat us, gave us some water and explain that it may take a little time to get our drinks. Had you done that I would have had such a good impression of your place and would not be leaving a 3 star review. Mistake #2...when I asked if we could wait by the hostess stand - she replied "If you want". "If I want???"...do you want us to walk around outside for ten minutes in the cold or do you want us to leave completely? Wow! While we were waiting we saw 2 large parties leave (10-12 people). When we were finally sat, the restaurant was at best 1/3 full. The next person who sat us apologized and I just said "We are only here for a drink" and she replied a little snarkily "That's all we serve". Once we were sat we saw EVERYONE else get seated immediately. And the place completely filled up. I'm assuming they were caught up at that point?? But still - there is no reason we couldn't have been sat and waiting for ten minutes at our table vs. standing by the door.At this point - I would have left a 1 star. Thankfully it turned around once we were sat...the menu has a lot of options that we both wanted to try. Our server (Claire) also apologized and was so nice and polite. Water was brought to our table along with an amuse-bouche cocktail - what a fun surprise! Our drinks were delicious and mine was one of the most beautiful drinks I've ever seen. The ambiance was exactly as I hoped and a fun place to enjoy a drink before dinner. It's unfortunate that one person can sour your first impression of a place. I would love to go back but will always remember how we were treated when we first arrived. I understand if all the tables were full and I had to wait, but they weren't. There are better ways to handle this same situation in the future...

Tried this place for a birthday celebration. It was pretty empty for a thirsty Thursday. The decor was decent, their drinks seemed pretty good. The music choice was a bit child-like. Overall a decent experience.

Absolutely HORRIBLE service. Stopped in for a drink before dinner and sat for over 20 minutes for drinks. Watched several people arrive after us and we're served.

Awesome wait staff. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the drink options. Enjoyed the espresso martini. Best I've had...no but enjoyable. Tried a root beer, absinth vanilla ice cream shot that was unusual. Wouldn't do that one again but sounded interesting.
