We love their brunch! Went there for dinner last night to celebrate a birthday. The mussels app with poblano peppers and chorizo is incredible. We ate the broth like it was soup. Wagyu flank steak on pomegranate salad was excellent too. Great service and ambience as always.

Tonight, my friend and I went to this place for the first time to celebrate our friendship of over 20 years. It was a busy night, but we were seated right away, which was great. Our waitress was amazing, really friendly and attentive. She made sure our drinks stayed full and cleared our plates quickly, and she even took the time to chat with us about why we were there. And the food? It was incredible. The mussels and wagyu flank were especially delicious; the combination of blue cheese and flank was mouthwatering. We were so impressed that we'll definitely be coming back with other family members to try it out.

Linear is a beautiful restaurant on the river with amazing, creative dishes. You can tell how fresh and scratch-made the food is. There were so many dishes I wanted to try. It made for a cozy and romantic birthday dinner, although I wish the river was a bit more visible from the dining area.

Didn't have a good food experience with under cooked rice and dry bread. If serving international, learn to cook it right. And served buttered spaghetti for mac and cheese, when asked about that, got the most hilarious reply that it is a high end restaurant so they serve spaghetti, though in the menu it is mac n cheese.

Am I in Grand Rapids or have I been transported to Toronto or Atlanta, or some other cool city? This place has it all. It's in an old building but the atmosphere is contemporary. I can't wait for summer when I'll be able to dine al fresco, along the river. The service was impeccable; appropriately attentive and unrushed. The cocktails were classic and creative. I had the Black Manhattan which is always a favorite. The wine selection is special and surprisingly affordable. We ordered a nice bottle of red blend from California. For an appetizer we had samosas which were delicious and vegan. I had the salmon, with fingerling potatoes and was perfectly done. Hubby had the Wagyu Steak which he described as tender and paired with root vegetables. I am anxious for an excuse to go back.

Great atmosphere, lighting and background music. The food is great and they always have some creative specials. Drinks span from craft cocktails to lawnmower beers. I recognize much of the staff from around town from my many years in Grand Rapids. They are always welcoming and they know what they are doing which you don't always get these days. A real gem....I need to get there more often.
