stopped here while adventuring around downtown GR. was pleasantly surprised with my white mocha caramel swirl that I ordered. it was so flavorful and delicious! can't wait to come back!
Tried ordering sandwiches and the old man behind the counter refused to help us because we had first tried to go to the sub shop next door and found it closed. Apparently he was insulted he wasn’t our first choice. We finally just left. Truly bizarre.

Ordered a strawberry smoothie. Worker didn't barely say anything. And when I asked for a napkin, he said "really, for a smoothie". Reluctantly gave me one then I left. The smoothie was okay I guess. Not something I'd go back for, especially with that sort of customer service. At least the interior was clean and looked nice.

The wife and I were heading to the Cafe next door when we saw the "Mom & Pop" Cafe next door last second. So we decided to stop in and give them an opportunity. There was one person behind the counter and so the wait was longer than expected but totally fine. She was extremely pleasant and genuinely nice.
We ordered a couple of espresso drinks (the Cortado wasn't on the menu but was she made one after explaining what it was) as well as a couple of breakfast sandwiches. All of the above were delicious!
Support the small businesses if they're warranted like this place.

Was sitting outside at a table when the owner/worker came out and asked if I was ordering anything. I said no. He said “then get the hell out of the seat.” There were no customers there. No one waiting for a seat. I will never go to this place now

I used to frequent Local Mocha Coffee when I worked downtown. Come to find out it's owned by my friend Arumun's aunt and uncle! I believe they're originally from Nigeria?? They're such NICE people❣️ They take great care in the drinks/food they serve! Such a home feeling environment.
A really wonderful cup of coffee. A older smaller space. But tables and a nice window bar where you can watch downtown pass by. All ingredients home made by the owner. The apple cake was amazing. Chai Latte ingredients made fresh. Coffee not pre-made. Staff grinds beans after order so it is as fresh as possible. Wonderfully creative coffee offerings. Any negative reviews are not based upon service, coffee, food, or staff. Much better spot than the coffee places in the area.
Pleasant atmosphere, great mocha! Not overly sweet, and perfectly chocolate
I've been here a handful of times and have been satisfied with my experience each time. The person serving was very nice and she makes great drinks. There is a large variety of drinks and food on the menu. I have had the iced matcha smoothie, bagel BLT, and a dirty chai latte and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
