I have not been to a Long John Silver's in probably 15 years or more. I thought I would try it out. Now I realize why I stayed away. The breading on their fish is just awful. It's greasy and oily and has an odd flavor. The waffle fries were nice, and the hush puppies were good even though they were small. They were out of coleslaw so I had a son for beans. Will not repeat.

Lobster bites were slightly disappointing, preferred when fish was Cod instead of Pollock. Waffle fries were good. I didn't get my Coleslaw. Had to wait almost 10 minutes after time I set in the app for pickup.

We usually go to the LJS near our home but were out on the other end of town. We were met by a lady named Andrea, whom I believe was the manager. She flashed us a big smile with a hearty “welcome”. The place was so clean, and bright. Food prepared by Dave was crispy and delicious. Just a shout out to them both! We visited the LJS out on 28th street Grand Rapids, MI. Keep up the great job you two!!
