Our party of 4 arrived at Long Road on Leonard about 8:30pm on March 16th. We were seated by the hostess and it didn't seem very busy. About 25-30 minutes went by and no one came to our table. We contacted the hostess and and she took our drink order. Another 15-20 minutes went by with no drinks so we decided to leave. We told the hostess we were leaving and she just said they only had one bartender, but didn't seem to care that we were leaving. We noticed other tables seated after us get service during the time we were there. We have been here several times in the past and service was great. Waiting 45 minutes for a few drinks is unacceptable.

Love the interior with the Christmas lights adds to the atmosphere. The upstairs space for private parties is spacious with your own private bar and bathrooms.

The liquor is very good. However, and this may have been the dish I ordered (pesto roasted chicken), the food was mid at best. It was under seasoned and there was almost no pesto flavor at all. The blood clots in the chicken were also unappealing, but I get that happens sometimes. The corn bread that came with it was delicious, but I highly recommend you stay away from the bland, tasteless chicken. My partner said that the fish and chips was ok, though the fries were cold, so a lot of meh there too.We will happily go back for drinks, but we don't plan on eating there again.Liquor: 4Food: 2That averages to a 3.

What a pleasant spot! Great atmosphere for drinks and meeting with friends. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The brussels sprout appetizer was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend. We sat at the wooden bench-style booth in the corner. My only complaint is that the bench wasn't very comfortable. It feels like you're sitting at a picnic table. There isn't a good way to sit without getting uncomfortable after a few minutes. I think a few pillows would make that front corner table even cozier! There are all different types of seating, not all seats are this wooden bench type.Overall, I would recommend giving Long Road Distillers a try!!

Been coming here for literal years. My mom had her 50TH birthday here and shes 54. We used to rave about the place. We came straight from work so she didn’t have her physical ID on her, but she had a picture of it. She’s beautiful, but you can definitely tell she is over 40. The server and manager were extremely rude and argumentative and tried to “explain” the law, which they were not even right about. The manager walked away while I was mid-sentence. We were very nice about it, but they seemed like they were on a power trip and honestly just determined to be unkind. Not sure why, but they lost AT LEAST a handful of customers. I worked in the service industry for years and that could have been handled WAY better. Considering we go there frequently and never get carded (we’ve even went with my 22 year old brother and didnt get carded) it would have been nice to give a warning if they are going to change their ways. Again she is 54, CLEARLY over 40. Disappointing, but no big deal, theres plenty of other bars that are just as good, if not better, that care about customer service. ✌?

I had a great time here this past Friday. Our servers were great and attentive and very accommodating. I also appreciate that they were very allergen and dietary restriction aware as well. I loved the decor in here, a very nice vibe and mood. I'd say it's trendy but inviting. The still room is fun to look at too! The cocktails we tried were all very tasty. I loved the Polish Falcon the most. The ginger in the ginger beer was nice and sharp - if you enjoy mules you'll love it! They have some of their cocktails to go in canned form, we took home a four pack of th falcons for about $14. All of the spirits used were well executed. The fries to share were good, but I wasn't a fan of the aioli, too viscous for me. The fish and chips were good. The batter had an almost pretzel like taste to it and the fish itself was wonderful. Definitely a good bang for buck choice. Tried the salmon with asparagus as well and holy moly was it divine! Very well balanced, not a large portion though - so if you'd like a really tasty meal that's light I'd recommend it.I definitely recommend this place!

I and a good friend of mine were driving through Grand Rapids, MI, and found Long Road Distillers. A awesome find. I like small batch distilleries. Small batch distillers make some of the best whiskeys and bourbon. Plus, other spirits. This is one of those distilleries. If you are near or driving through Grand Rapids, you need to stop in and enjoy what they make. If you live in Grand Rapids and haven't been there. What are you waiting for!!!!

Fantastic cocktails and pretty decent food as well. Interior decor is a pleasant fusion of modern and rustic charm - if that's not your thing, there's also outdoor seating. +1 for there being bike parking directly out front - highly appreciated.Parking: There are bike racks located directly out front.

Everything here is high quality. I'm definitely going to be adding it to my go-to list. A large, well rounded, cocktail menu filled with something interesting for everyone. I tried 2 aquavits, a rye whiskey, a dry gin, and a green tea whiskey shot. Everything I had was above average and solid quality. The Amaro pazzo was also amazing. The lingering bitterness of the coffee cleansed my pallet, readying me for another great taste. I'm definitely coming back to try other thingsThe service was perfect. No one bothered me. They filled my water glass at least 5 times without being asked and answered all my questions. The food menu isn't huge, but it has vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, so no complaints. I had a hummus plate, which was very good. Nachos were also good. It seems like they go to extra effort to make most things fresh in house. It's not too common in grand rapids, but I appreciate it.
