This spot is so consistent. My go-to is an oat milk cortado. Three days in a row with different baristas each time, the cortado was silky smooth and the artistry was excellent. Well done!

Two stars for price, not quality. I bought beans for home use. Almost $25 for an 8 oz bag. It was good, but not THAT good.

This is honestly the best coffee I have ever tasted. I am pretty picky when it comes to my lattes, especially my iced mochas (which is my go-to order at any place). I always look for a mocha that is rich in flavor, creamy, and not watered down by ice or too much milk. I don't want straight chocolate syrup, but I also don't want straight espresso taste. This mocha is the perfect balance of a rich flavor profile & super creamy with some foam at the top. I don't know how else to describe the flavor but perfect. I would 100% go back again whenever I am nearby. The staff were pretty friendly but it was also really busy, so I was in & out. The environment was busy but not overwhelming. A lot of people were there for meetings, work, socializing, etc. 10/10 would recommend, and no, I'm not getting paid to say this. I'm genuinely having the best day because of this mocha. I also never leave reviews but I just had to.

Had high hopes for this place, but was severely disappointed. Vibe was unwelcoming and the coffee was super milky. We could barely even taste any coffee in it. Overall save ur money and time and go somewhere else.

They actively try to remember my name. I also was born with no hands and they're always trying to help me

Fantastic espresso (even the decaf) and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I was surprised how quiet it was inside despite the full cafe and tall ceilings. Will be back for sure

Every morning while visiting Grand Rapids, I start my day with your coffee. The staff here are always friendly and knowledgeable. I truly enjoy the thoughtful conversations — about everything and nothing — that make this place special. Thank you for keeping local business strong!

My mom and I visited this Madcap location on a Wednesday morning and it was lovely! I wasn't too busy and we were able to find a table easily. The staff were friendly and efficient with our order. I got an iced mocha that was the perfect balance of chocolate and espresso. My mom got a chocolate chip cookie that she really enjoyed. I loved all the plants that this location has as well, it really made the place feel homey! Great spot in Grand Rapids!

Quite good coffee beans, but $24 for an 8oz bag of coffee is RIDICULOUS

Showed up at 3:59 and there was already a closed sign in the window. But our coworkers were already inside and we texted them our order. The barista refused to take the additional order because it was closing time. From people who were already inside the restaurant! Not like the machines were already cleaned out. The staff just did not care and wanted to check out immediately. Wanted to check out a new coffee shop on my first day in GR working a new job, but now I will never try this place again. Wild to be so anti customer because the clock hit 4 sharp.
