Terrance provided great service and recommendations for drinks and dinner options. From start to finish everything was prepared and presented magnificently. A very enjoyable evening with friends.
Amazing food and presentation. Every cocktail we tried was delicious! Great service and staff. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Ww will definitely be back!
Celebrated our anniversary on Saturday evening - had a fabulous dinner!!! LOVED the octopus tapas!!
We went for our anniversary and it was just the best experience ever! This is the place to go, especially if you have something to celebrate!
Everything about MDRD is as advertised. 5 star service, scenic views, and incredible food. Is it expensive? Yes, but it's worth every dollar. Every piece of food the plate has a purpose and it all works together to make a perfectly balanced and delicious bite. The Salmon con Trufa is one of the best dishes I have ever had, the pork belly was so tender and rich and the wild boar empanadas were also incredible. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about all the food and drink options and the view was spectacular.
I was in this beautiful restaurant, the atmosphere, food and service were excellent except for not informing me that when the kitchen closes they stop selling desserts too, since I made a reservation for my birthday and when it was time to order my dessert to sing happy birthday, the boy told me that there was none. I was very disappointed since I was excited to sing happy birthday with my dessert (it is logical that a reservation for a birthday is going to need dessert). Everything was going well until that happened and it made me too sad and angry since on my birthday I could not even light a candle with a dessert. I thought my waiter was going to consult with the manager what option there was or what could be done but nothing happened. I asked for my bill and they gave it to me right away. I think that for a place of this category and so expensive, the least that can happen is to let the client leave angry and sad and well that's how my birthday ended.
We had excellent service in a very nice atmosphere at the top of the Amway Grand Hotel. The food presentation was impressive and the food choices we made were very tasty. The only negative issue is the price. The cost of the entire meal was almost double what we would pay in other fine cuisine restaurants.
Sherly was amazing - she had great recommendations and ensured our night was wonderful! Highly recommend!
Food is consistently good and interesting. There were new menu items which was nice to see. The AC was out and it made us all uncomfortable throughout the experience. We should have been notified and they should have closed. It was a hot night and it not only impacted our experience but it was obvious our server was dragging as well.
I wish you would have given us a heads up on that your air conditioning was not working properly or at all . I reserved window seats paying 100. 00 to look over GR, but no we sweated our butts off. No manger with no apologies or offer to seat us somewhere else and refund to my money. The experience for such a prestigious restaurant in a 5 start hotel was so very disappointing, and I won't be recommending your restaurant If you want to see what service is all about please go across the street to the Chop house. Yes , that's elegance and the service they give their customers is 1000 times better than we received at your place. Do better and I hope this reaches someone who will consider giving me my 100.00 back The celebration was a bummer

This was our sixth time visiting MDRD. Upon being seated, the restaurant felt warmer than usual. The host neglected to inform us that their air conditioning was not working. The dishes were o-k at best. (Over salted). We were greeted by the manager shortly after receiving our appetizers. He informed us that an engineer is “looking into restoration the air conditioning.” Other patrons throughout the restaurant were using their menus as fans. Zero air circulation throughout the restaurant. Failure to give their patrons a curtesy call to inform us about the lack of AC in the middle of summer was inexcusable. Although our server was hospitable, gracious, and patient this may have been our last reservation at MDRD.
Food and wine were very nice. Ordered the charcuterie board and lamb chops and tuna salad. Lemon dessert was delicious and presentation was an artform.
This was a birthday celebration. I had a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect. The evening was perfectly paced by Layla. She knew the menu well and once we described what we were looking for she had some perfect suggestions for us. The charcuterie board was a fun item to try. We had a lot of discussion regarding the items on the board -- all delicious and plenty for the 3 of us. The empanadas, salmon puffs and the beautiful carrots rounded out the rest of the meal. The hazelnut cheesecake and Brule finished off the meal wonderfully. Oh - and did I mention the view, quite impressive. Also loved the distance (lots) that our table was from the nearest diners to us. I speak loudly due to a hearing deficit so (for once) I was very comfortable in this space.
Our table placement was less than ideal with minimal views. While our server was knowledgeable about the menu, they were unfortunately rude, snooty, and pushy. The flavors in the dishes we tasted were well developed and delicious, but the serving size was miniscule for the price. Overall, it was a very disappointing visit.
Food was incredible our waitress Layla was amazing ❤️
