I'm from the area but not all too familiar with the neighborhood. Yet still, I wanted to give MudPenny a try for the very first time. The young lady that greeted me was both warm and friendly. Yet still, my experience was mediocre at best. That being said, I fully intend to return when I have the chance to dine in. I absolutely want to give this spot another try.

I have used MudPenny Catering on several occasions and the recipients always voice their appreciation for something other than a boiler plate lunch option. Quality menu with delicious ingredients, warm service and ordering is made easy via email. The order is always ready for pick up at the requested time. They also offer catering delivery, but I have not used this service. I will be using them again soon for another round of MudPenny boxed lunches.

This was my first time here. We were greeted at the door and show directly to our table. At once the waiter arrived , he was very kind and knowledgeable! Then we received our cold brew coffees - yes they were yummy!! Next we received our entrée- this was very attractive as you can see in the picture below! The taste was wonderful! The waiter came back several times to check on us!! I recommend MUDPENNY to everyone!! Spencer was the best!! See you all again soon!!!!!

Usually, I am huge fan of MudPenny. But this week, I was served a Chicken Sammy with chicken that was completely charred--black and burned all the way around. I was floored they tried to serve it to me.
End story--when it's great, it's really great, especially for catering. But if you are dining in, there are times when they leave something to be desired in quality of service and customer care.

I’m an Uber driver and lately I’ve been picking up a lot of orders from Mudpenny. The customer service is honestly next level. The girls there are always on point, and Jenna is amazing. Her attitude, her energy… just everything about her vibe is great. Whoever hired her, you did a great job. She’s a keeper. I haven’t even tried the food yet, but the way she treats people made me want to leave a review. Thank you for making the experience such a good one.

Nice visit while in town on business. Great food and service. Little loud in the dining area and struggled a bit to have a conversation, but overall a nice experience. Had the smash burger and the maple bourbon latte. Both were delicious. Would return when in town again.

I have been to this location 3 times in the last 2 months and let me tell you is disappointing some of the waiters do not even get up from they chair to greet you, they just say pick any table and someone will be right with you. I wanted to try the protein cakes a couple of times but they were out on both occasions. My wife tried the avocado toast and let me tell you brown avocado and super small size not worth the 20$

I’m not sure if it’s coincidence or if there are issues managing the current team but that last two times I’ve come, I’ve been seated only to have someone come out and say cook staff had to leave and we would have to find somewhere else to eat. I last ate here several years ago and the positive memory of that experience keeps me coming back, for now.
