In addition to great and unique food, they treat you like they genuinely appreciate you choose them. Very refreshing experience.

Really glad we found this place. Easy to find off the highway, plenty of parking, and lots of seating inside. Airy atmosphere and clean too. A great selection of food and specialty drinks to choose from. Service was friendly, food came quick, and we all enjoyed our meals. The hardest part was trying to decide from so many options.

Any time I'm home to visit family I make a trip to MudPenny. I went with my mother. Emma was really knowledgeable about the coffee selection (especially the pourovers), accommodated my mom's food allergies (after we had already ordered and forgot to make a special request), and was really friendly. It was delicious, we had the WildCard with sausage. My only complaint is the cost of their menu options. I understand the benefit of quality products. But, it seemed really high for what was essentially a scramble of root veggies. It won't deter me from coming back! We love MudPenny. It was so wonderful to be back in town with a good cappucino.

Food was delicious, great fall day, so we sat outside... server could have checked on us, maybe at least once, before the check but over all great experience and great food.

Friendly people, great service, the food is delicious. Like it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
MudPenney is one of those places that consistently delivers with their main thing. In other words, I’ve had espressos, cortados, lattes, and pour overs, and they do a great job time and again with their coffee. The only time I remember not being thrilled was with a specialty drink that had really intense flavoring; some of those can be pretty sweet. But sometimes that’s what you’re going for I suppose! Their food is also quite good. Can feel on the pricier side sometimes.
Their space is really attractive, and their staff has been consistently friendly. If you’re going in just for a quick coffee, they have area inside the front entrance that is small but never too busy, as their main draw is the larger cafe side where you can order food for breakfast and lunch and is a great place to meet up with others.

I recently visited Mudpenny on Cesar Chavez and was disappointed with my experience. I ordered biscuits and gravy, which cost $19, but the portion was very small for the price. While the presentation was nice, it didn’t make up for the lack of value.
The service was also very slow, even though there was only one other table in the restaurant when I arrived—just 30 minutes after they opened. Given the slow service and the underwhelming portion size, I expected much more for the price. Unfortunately, I won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

In 2020 we’d order takeout here every weekend and it was so good. The pancakes and OG breakfast sandwich were to die for.
After experiencing a handful of brunches with raw pancakes and menu changes, we’ve since started going elsewhere.
Food was great, but service was slow although there was one other table. Gorgeous place!

The place has a modern vibe, the service is amazingly friendly, the food makes you feel good about eating it without any guilt! Full of flavor this was exactly what I was looking for! We had the wildcard and Arnold Palmers and some capuchins, lemon square for dessert. The wildcard portion was enough for two of us! My decaf cappuccino was great nice dark roast flavor, can’t tell it’s decaf. The lemon square was great as well specifically if you like lemon flavor deserts. We will be back cove the place and food!
