Mudpenny is one of my favorite places to eat in Grand Rapids. They have delicious food and delightful coffee. I have e joyed my experiences there. They have a great menu and plenty of seating. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful. I enjoy the h more story and branding. The to go cups are neat. Only wish the roaster was a little more quiet and smelled a but better. Would recommend to anyone. Close to downtown. Can be busy so there is a wait and parking can be a little tricky. I have been street parking.

Five stars, and more! Roosevelt Park location is beautiful. The atmosphere is great for a quick trip, study spot, dates, hanging out...everything! The employees are so kind and devoted to the customer. The food is insanely good, the menu is always evolving and they have great options for all types of diets. The coffee is SO GOOD and roasted in house (bonus, you can buy beans to take home!) Also, they have gone above and beyond during COVID19 to make everything as safe and clean as possible.

Mudpenny is my favorite Grand Rapids restaurant. They have the best coffee, the food is so good—quality, flavorful, with fresh new things to try all the time, and great kid options too. And their service is excellent. The environment is friendly and upbeat!

We live less than a mile from the Ada location. It's a wonderful addition to downtown Ada. Everything I've ordered from MudPenny has been fantastic! From the chicken salad sandwich to the chocolate chip cookies and iced coffee. Employees are always a joy to interact with as well. I'm hooked!

The southwest chicken sandwich was incredible. The chicken was very moist and the naan was grilled perfectly. We ordered my son the pancakes and they were so light and fluffy. The service was amazing as well.

We were skeptical of all of the five star reviews... but they're accurate! This place is lovely. This was our first in house restaurant experience since March and we felt very comfortable. The staff wore masks and gloves and the restaurant seemed impeccably clean. The food was quite tasty and they were able to serve two of us who are celiac (gluten free). We highly recommend.

I've ordered takeout from the new Ada location twice now and it has been fantastic both times! Each time I felt like while browsing the menu that it was simple food and a somewhat limited selection but each time very impressed with the unique flavors in simple dishes! The menu prices are a great value, portions just right and can't wait to be able to try this place in person once it is fully open. Until then, I'll be back for more takeout! Lastly, its hard to get a great idea of the service simply through takeout but each time the person answering the phone was extremely friendly and very accomodating of altering items based on dietary needs.

What a treat! Found it due to a need to be in this section of town. Thrilled with the entire experience! Revitalized neighborhood with lovely new landscaping. Building has so much character with an inside mural, cool brick, simply elegant table decor, and a small private room behind a sliding barn door! It felt like a trendy Chicago spot. Food was excellent. Cannot say enough about the atmosphere, service and food.

I was so thrilled when this location opened near my office in Roosevelt Park. Great staff, cool vibe, and great food! My whole family loves visiting. Be sure to check out their merch.

I visited for the first time on a whim about a month ago. My first delight was in finding that they have several offerings that are specifically keto, including keto pancakes, which are delicious. They also roast their own coffee, and I had one of the best cups of decaf anywhere in town. Prices are reasonable, and while it is order-at-the-counter, not table service, the entire staff is super friendly and helpful.

Really good coffee, and the food. Breakfast or lunch, the menu has many tempting items. Have eaten here a few times and I'll gladly say it: I'm impressed! Great staff, great building, easy parking. Seriously good coffee, and I'm repeating myself, the food. We are lucky to have this spot in our neighborhood. Still hoping they decide to open on Sundays, what the heck.

Boom!!! I had no idea what to expect from this place but was so excited by the menu. We came in a group of ladies and everyone was able to find food to fit her diet (keto, gluten free, whole food, vegetarian , etc ). I had the salad with salmon- amazing!!! The gluten free bed was good too - that is not always true. I need to come back and try other dishes.

Keto eaters, rejoice! A restaurant you can eat at with friends and be gluten/grain/sugar free! The keto pancakes are delicious. Not a big fan of the biscuits and gravy (I believe it was a vegan gravy, which I didn't care for) but I know of others who liked it a lot. People here are super nice and helpful when I had menu questions. I really appreciate their efforts with keto :) hope to be back soon to try their cauliflower bowls.
