Cheap beer, live music, great vibes.. all in the heart of Eastown! What more can you ask for? A bar that supports local musicians and lets them play. Easily the best bar in Grand Rapids.

I'm not sure of his name but the male bartender who's tall with a long red beard and there late nights is the best! Really kind and down to earth. I always love Mulligans because they have cheap drinks that are made well.

Have always had a fun time here in the past. Even went here after our wedding with a bunch of friends. Absolutely loved ally cat she was such a nice bartender. Our last experience here was not good. We had a different bartender who wasn’t nice at all. She was probably having a bad day herself but we definitely will not be back.

Was patient with me as I dug through 500 cards, looking for my appropriate ID. Was politely offered chilled water when I gently refused a drink from others. The Music, the energy and also Poetry night with the DJ was AMAZING!
I love the bar its-self, very fun and great people and love the free live music but one of the bartenders is very un-kind. we are the paying customers who essentially leave your tip so you can make an income and I don't know his name, he looks older, completely bald with a long beard and he's skinny. he's a very, very bad and rude bartender. he isn't friendly and most places the bartender is at least kind with the customers but he screams at people even when the lines not really long. I witnessed him not only yell at my group of friends but some random poor dude, he accused him of cutting when in reality he didn't cut and he let us go first. I know most of these reviews aren't taken seriously but truth be told the guy was mean and ruined alot of nights for loyal mulligans customers. I hope he sees this can work on his attitude and how he talks too others.

Great place no cover. Went this 4/20/2024. Had an awesome free live show. G of to see three dope bands play and PBR on tap cheap and beat as ever. One of my favorite places to check out live music plus has a great vibe.
Parking: Kinda have to look around for a place to park for a second, but usually not long.
