Service is exceptionally good! Chocolate challah is awsome!
Found this bakery by chance on a run and had to stop in to check out all their baked goods. Got some amazing pastries and had a lovely conversation with Marco, highly recommend!
On the way up to the Upper Peninsula, land of the very scarce vegan options, we stopped in Grand Rapids, Michigan to pick up a (pre-ordered) vegan birthday cake. The Lyon Street location was adorable, with easy parking, a few outdoor seating spots and friendly staff. They are a full service Bakery that carry a few rotating vegan menu items in stock daily with the ability to pre-order any of the many vegan items they carry and vegan birthday cakes. Check out their website for more info.
We both got a vegan walnut chocolate chip cookie and goobled those tasty things up in the car before I got a good close up pic. I also got a vegan everything croissant which was the perfect thing to go with some of my chickpea salad when we arrived at the hotel in St. Ignace that night, yum. The cake was even still really delicious 3 days later, when we finally cut it on Brian's Birthday. Vanilla cake, with chocolate frosting. I definitely recommend checking out this place if you are in the area. 🙌
Thanks for the great vegan options, Nantucket Baking Co.
Friendly staff and always fresh, tasty treats.
Cheese danish was delicious! The best I’ve ever had.

Enjoy the sweets but do not buy the bread. We have tried almost every kind to give the benefit of the doubt. All blah and consistently blah over three years. Eat their cheesecake and go Field Fire breads

They have so many wonderful breads here - and they often will have one or two vegan pastries. I have had a vegan danish and muffin before and they were very good. In a mega cute area as well.
Their bread is insanely good. I now get all my bread from there. I go once a week and get 2-3 loafs. Keep one out and put the rest in the freezer until I need it. Life is too short to eat crappy bread.

Best bread in GR!! Vienna & Polish rye just like the bread my grandparents would get from the Polish bakery when I was a kid.
Oh, and their pies!!! Heavenly.
Highly recommend anything from this place. You can't go wrong.
