Awesome Breakfast!! Had the Mexican omelet w/ jalapeños and pancakes. Truly full of flavor. The pancakes were too big for the plate. Service was outstanding. Looking forward to my next visit 😊

August 26, 2025 we came in to pick up our take out order about 925am and received our neatly bagged items. Staff was friendly as always. Upon arriving home and exiting the truck, I realized the bag had gravy and egg yolk spilled in it but couldnt understand why as nothing had tipped over on our drive home. I removed all 4 Styrofoam containers and found that the bottoms had been melted through. From the food. Food also had Styrofoam melted into it.

I did call the restaurant right after I discovered the situation to report this but was told the manager was not in at that time but they were very apologetic about it and offered to replace the meal(s) right then or said theyd give us the food for free next time. Since we had already traveled all the way home we opted for the replacement meals next visit.

I just wanted to inform others to just double check before leaving the restaurant, or even eating it, that your Styrofoam containers and food havent been compromised.

Unfortunately we had Styrofoam melted into the chicken fried steaks so we didnt feel safe consuming them but hopeful next visit they're as tasty as we remember them being minus the melted Styrofoam.

I have no clue what has happened to this place! My waitress couldn't be bothered, I had to get her attention anytime I needed something never even came back to ask me if the food was okay. I got an omelette which came back in just a couple of minutes, that was already strange but I found out it wasn't even cooked all the way through 🤮 I probably would have just kept it and cooked it the rest of the way at home but the mushrooms in it tasted like spoiled fish. So the waitress gets me a new omelette but doesn't get me fresh toast so I end up eating cold toast with my omelette, ok. I have never left a restaurant and not tipped the waitress but I honestly didn't feel like she deserved it.

Would not recommend going there the food was very bad for breakfast I'll go back to New beginnings on 52nd and division anytime
