Was there with a large group. The food and service were very good, The benches they use are not old customer-friendly. The reason I probably will not go back is the parking, for that matter, I doubt if I would go to any of the businesses in the area for that reason. Very little parking, expensive, and even when you pay thru the Air Garage app they hit you up with a ticket for another $78.

The Knickerbocker is thee brewery & restaurant to visit when in Grand Rapids. imIt is our go-to for bigger groups & when we want to socialize and have a fun atmosphere. We had a party of 10, made reservations early in the week and had no issues. Pizza pinwheels are a crowd favorite, and Dragon's Milk is delicious (especially the varieties- smores, coconut rum & stroopwaffle are probably my favorite when they run those. The tweens rate the pickle pizza with a solid 10 out of 10. The cheddar & beef was magnificent, fried chicken sandwich is my fall back on when I dont want to be adventurous, and the chicken pot pie was a smokey play on a childhood go-to.

Absolutely ?. Got the chicken sandwich with the dragon rub. Probably the best sandwich I’ve had in my life. Def neck and neck with the sandwich I had in Kauai Hawaii! Also, should be noted I am not a beer guy, but my buddy got the dragons milk oatmeal cookie beer. I tried it and ended up with my own glass lol. Def was a good time with great food and service! Our server was great, probably best server I’ve had in a very long time. He is a sports reporter when he’s not working at new holland!

Walk in, great atmosphere and phenomenal venue. Sit down, check menu, oh 35 IPAs how cool, I wonder when they’ll branch out. Burger looks good, guy next to me got it I’ll try. Oh cool! It’s worse than a McDonald’s Cheeseburger! Fries looks neat but dear lord they’re naked. Must’ve spent all the cash on this location and not a dime on quality food. Probably the last time I frequent the establishment or purchase their beers. Thanks!

Atmosphere was great, good vibes, staff was super friendly, food was prepared perfectly and was a delight to the tastebuds! Busy, so about a 20-30 minute wait for a table. Can air at the bar is sears available to wait.

Awesome! Great atmosphere, great drinks, big open facility. The gift shop is also very nice with a selection of specialty adult beverages not readily available at regular restaurants, bars, or liquor stores

Met here for a wedding rehearsal dinner (not mine). Food was great! I really appreciated that the music was only playing in the background and our party could have conversations without having to shout.

Pretty cool vibe! We went just to have a chill night out after dinner and catch some sports on tv. I was really feeling some dessert so I asked what they had and ended up getting the Carmel Apple Sundae. I asked for no whip cream but it came with it which wasn’t ideal, but, it wasn’t too big of a deal and I hate to be that person to send something back. So it was fine. I ordered with nine minutes before the kitchen closed, so, I totally get that that’s a bit inconvenient so I’m not holding it against them or anything. Solid service and just an overall cool vibe!

Great place! Was there for a company event.. and the place is spacious, open, clean and the staff is very friendly. The food is very tasty, loved the pizza pinwheels and stuffed mushrooms, and the drinks are on point. The berry cobbler is perfect, the wine is good and the fall mule is delicious (according to the other people in my group). I will have to go back and try the beer.. the tangerine IPA for sure.

The atmosphere and decor are stellar, and the food I got to try was decent, but those are the highlights for me. Our waitress was quite rude, and made it seem like any question we had was an inconvenience to answer. I got the Giant Pumpkin N/A cocktail, and while it had some nice flavor, it was too sweet for me personally. When I brought this up to the waitress, she said "what do you want me to do then?" I understand that it was busy, but I didn't feel valued as a guest—especially since it was my first time there. Needless to say, I probably won't come back here, especially with so many other places to drink nearby.

Fantastic place to visit while in Grand Rapids. #1 spot in my opinion. Attentive staff, big tap list, great brews. They even have daily specials which is great. Would be good for a big group of people too.

10/5/2024 Our first time at GR location. The waitstaff was friendly and it was very clean. The staff cleaned up table’s promptly. The food was fantastic! It came out hot and fresh.

Cluckin good bowl - Delicious! Fresh chicken, so flavorful and a good amount. Definitely would get it again.

Caesar salad with grilled chicken - very good! This is what a Caesar salad should be. Plenty of romaine lettuce, dressing, shredded cheese and fresh croutons. The chicken had wonderful flavor. Definitely would get it again.

Definitely would go back.

I went to New Holland for my birthday and had a reservation for 7 at 7 pm. The bouncer would not let one of my family members in because she was not 21 and didn’t have a screenshot of the reservation while 4 year olds strolled in passed her. After 1.5 hours, we asked why our food was taking so long and the waitress forgot to put our order in. She expected our meals to be out at 9:15 pm. We cancelled them. Overall very disappointed.
