Great selection of good beer. Food was good too - lots of choices, particularly like the smoked Meats. Chicken wings are nummy and reasonably priced and the habenero sauce is very delicious. Plenty of paid parking lots around.

Personal favorite brewery to visit when visiting friends in Grand Rapids.

Service a bit slow. Beer ok, but nothing wow. Same with the food, very average.

Just went for drinks. Both seasonal drinks were great. Service was great too.

Nashville spicy chicken sandwich probably the best on the menu and better than Hopcat. Love Stein night on Wednesday's.

Great beers, food, and atmosphere! What more can I say? Definitely one of my favorite breweries!

Great beer selection and we really enjoyed the handmade tater tots with pulled pork and the pretzels. Our waitress didn't pay much attention to us though.

This place is definitely worth a try. Nice spot in the downtown area and clean. Food was damn good and server was really nice. I will be going back any chance I get.

Your biodegradable straws are exceptional. 11/10 higher rated bar due to divine straw selection.

Second to none to me. The staff is always top notch and friendly. The beers and spirits are very tasty. The Chef BJ continually creates some very tasty dishes like the hog in the hammock we dined on last night was out of this world.Big-Time thanks to the New Holland staff for working so hard to make everything just right for everybody.

Absolutely horrible service last night, 2/2/24. We were told it would only take 20 minutes for a table and we waited over 45min. When we were seated, my chair was dirty with crumbs from the group before us, because the table was quickly wiped and the chairs weren't. But the worst part was our waitress. She was rushed and didn't tend to us at all. We had to get our own napkins, and she never asked us how our food was or checked on us apart from when we asked for the bill. When we checked out, we were each given an iPad for our bills, which she handed us and death stared us as we put in our tips. After paying, the iPad asked each of us how our service was. I didn't want to rate the service, but it was mandatory, so I gave 2 stars, and still tipped 10%, despite the bad service. The waitress took the iPad back and scoffed, making a huge scene, and demanded how her service was bad. Our whole table stopped talking and turned to stare at me. I was completely embarrassed by how she called me out in front of my coworkers, but explained to her that we had to get our own napkins. She quickly blamed the hostess for not providing napkins and moved on to the next person in our group. My friend whispered to me, asking if I didn't tip her; I told her I would never do that to someone, despite bad service. She told me I did the right thing with her rating, but my friend didn't want to rate our waitress anything but 5 stars for how she reacted to my rating. When she was done, she yelled across the long table back to me, and said, "Well, I could bring a free dessert?!" She was causing a second scene to make me feel uncomfortable, again, for being the only one in our group to score a truthful review (everyone else at my table gave her 5 stars because they were too nervous to be truthful based on how she called me out.)I only go to GR very infrequently, and she ruined my whole night as I felt extremely embarrassed for how she treated me. I will never return to the Knickerbocker for food again, despite absolutely loving the Chicken and Waffles pizza. I will continue to support them with takeout and buying their beer and gin in stores. I will never be completely humiliated by a total stranger at the Knickerbocker again. SMH!
