Good food. Limited menu. The service was incredibly slow considering there staff outnumbered the guests.

The new vibe of the restaurant is Mexican themed, so I tried an Al Pastor taco, and it was delicious. Going to be coming back to check out the rest of the food!

Friendly staff and owners and delicious food. We asked the couple sitting at the bar what they had ordered and it turned out Lisa and Dan were the owners and gave us great advice as to what to order. We always order the fish here because it is flown in fresh and is top notch. My favorite salmon ever was from here. Last night we tried the dinner special which was the monkfish and it was so so good. Buttery good. Yum. The atmosphere is friendly and feels like a home away from home. We always try to sit in the bar section and enjoy the conversations and try to come for the live music as well. Plus we learned the proper way to drink Limoncello. Great night that ended with peach cobbler served in a cast iron skillet. Yum!

My husband and I went to the One Trick Pony for our anniversary, and we had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, and Dan, the owner, made the evening extra memorable for us. Many thanks to him and to the staff.

Very good food. Our waitress was a doll!!! Helped us keep our table for the band. So we ordered more drinks and desert!! Fantastic atmosphere and band!! Planning on coming back next month with friends.

Excellent music, spectacular tasting food and amazing hospitality. We got a table visit from the owner and the chef!

The food is excellent. I wish they had a parking lot. Sometimes it's too loud to hear the people you're with (when there's live music). I don't think children should be allowed. Someone said they are. This place is a pub...a bar. When you walk in, you walk past a long, long, long bar with people sitting at it drinking. I wouldn't want to bring kids here personally. Besides, can't we adults have anything to ourselves anymore?

One Trick Pony has been around for awhile but I never seem to make it there. The last time I was there, I sat outside on the sidewalk on a sunny day. Last night's visit was much different as it was gusting wind and snowing, but my boyfriend and I had a great experience. I saw a Groupon for OTP so I scooped that up, right before they announced they were trying to sell both this and The Cottage Bar! We decided to go in right away and I'm so glad we did. The whole restaurant was full when we arrived around 7 pm, which I later realized was due to a concert at St. Cecilia's next door. It cleared out quickly around showtime, though. We were seated near the door, which made for a chilly dinner as the wind was blowing in anytime someone opened the door. I didn't mind too much but something to be aware of if you get cold easily. Our server was polite but not overly friendly. We ordered the stuffed dates to start, the polenta bolognese (a special that day), the seafood linguine, and the peach cobbler for dessert. The stuffed dates were a great treat! They're super indulgent and rich and came five to a plate. The goat cheese inside was decadent and soft, and the bacon was perfectly crisp-tender. The horseradish cream-dressed arugula was a nice accompaniment and cut through some of the richness. I really enjoyed these. I was a bit wary about my dish, the seafood linguine, as I had recently gotten a less than stellar seafood dish at a fancy restaurant at Disney. However, this dish blew it out of the water! The pasta was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, with a savory buttery sauce covering each noodle. The seafood was also perfectly cooked (this is where the Disney restaurant was most lacking), which was what I was most worried about. The shrimp and calamari were both tender and not overcooked at all. There was a decent portion of both as well. The crab got a little overwhelmed by the rest of the dish but I did find some small chunks here and there. I had a bite of the polenta bolognese which was full of flavor and warmed me right up. We overheard a server telling another table that there were only three orders of the peach cobbler left, so we decided to go for it. It came out in a piping hot skillet with a big scoop of French vanilla ice cream and lots of whipped cream! The cobbler itself wasn't too sweet and was a really nice sweet treat to end the meal. The seafood linguine was one of the best pasta dishes I've had in awhile. I definitely would go back just for that! Here's hoping that the new owner will keep much of the menu intact.
