Oh my...It was our anniversary we hadn't been out to dinner in a year and luckily picked Osteria Rossa. Had never been there before and we were Astounded by how good it was. Each flavor was subtle and poignant at the same time. It was just SO flavorful. Literally everything we had from appetizers to pizza, entrée and dessert were extraordinary. We will be back to try everything else on the menu. I had heard to was good but really had no idea it would be SO utterly satisfying and it makes my mouth happy to think about it today.

Our reserved table wasn't quite ready since we were early, so we went up to the bar to get a couple of drinks. The bartender never looked at us. There was no acknowledgment that we were there. After 10 minutes we walked outside for our table. Our table still wasn't ready and there was no acknowledgment from 2 separate servers.

This restaurant was highly recommended to us and was, unfortunately, a big disappointment. The wait staff was rude, our food took forever to be served and the pasta I ordered was dry and tough. We complained and got a complimentary dessert, which was good. I would say the overall experience was mediocre.

We went in for an early dinner at 5:30 (made a reservation). Great cocktails with grilled octopus and antipasti with crostini and extra bread and olive oil started us off. Yum! For dinner, we shared the rigatoni bolognese and a margarita Pizza from their wood fired oven. Good pizza, and the bolognese was to die for. Best ever?! Washed down with a decently priced bottle of Masi Super Tuscan. We got our Tiramisu to go so we could walk around and digest our dinner and enjoy it later with a single malt at home. Friendly and attentive staff &safe, well spaced tables made for a nice evening. Definitely recommend this place for a great Italian dinner!!
