Penn Station East Coast Subs

I think it’s time to update your hours. We walked in at 6:40 and before we gave our order they said they were closing. Luckily the lady with the purple hair (didn’t get her name) gave us the blessing to order food but then proceeded to say it has to be to go. We live 2 hours away, wanted to eat our food while it’s fresh and not in the car. There were other people in the restaurant still finishing their food so we decided to try to eat as much as we could but were being stared down the 7 minutes we rushed to try and eat. The store hours say open until 10 but you must be out by 7pm unless you want to feel rushed and very uncomfortable.

Staff are awesome, food is consistently delicious. Even when they are busy, they communicate and provide a great product.

Great service, clean and the fresh were awesome. However, a Rubin is not a Rubin without Swiss cheese and rye bread.

I ordered a small sub to go and waited for 25 mins. I’m never coming back to this place.

drove 20 minutes, asked for chicken teriyaki and he even said it back to me but gave me artichoke and mushrooms only. disappointed 😕

I feel like I need to get a refund on my entire order as…..order #19088688, Kentwood.

First, I ordered the turkey avocado with ham, etc. Unfortunately, you were out of avocado. I did not know this, I ordered online. The girl did say she tried to call me, but I never got a phone call (not to doubt that she did, but I didn’t receive a call), so when I arrived at the restaurant, I had to wait for my order to get made I drive 5 miles to get there 5 miles to get back.

Second…. I get ready to eat my sandwich (I ordered a turkey with corn beef, etc. regular size for my boyfriend and then again my sandwich), they made both sandwiches wrong. They made my sandwich what his was to be and vice versus. I had to drive 5 miles back to wait another 10 minutes for my order then 5 miles back. By the time I got back to the house my boyfriend had to leave to go to work so he did not get to eat his sandwich. And to top it off, my boyfriend does not eat pork of any kind whatsoever!!!
I sent this is an email and never received a response!

Tried again! I again ordered the turkey AVACADO; I did not get any avocado. Very disappointed as the sandwiches can be tasty if made right.

Wow this was amazing. A bit pricey though.

Unfortunately I came in 15 min before close when I was hungry driving by. Anyway I walked in and saw the person behind the counter turn around throw her and on the top of her head as if I had ruined there evening I worked in food and I understand trying to close but I was thought closing time is at closing time so if they come at 840 there shouldn't be that type of reaction I left because I dont want food made by people who think its ok th treat a paying customer like that

I wish it had occured to me in the moment that a completely empty sandwich shop at 12:15 in the afternoon is a really bad sign. Almost $17 for a small 6 inch sub a medium fry and a small drink. The turkey bacon ranch sub came with a single microwaved piece of bacon on it and some chopped turkey. Don't expect your hot sandwich to be hot. Expect to pay roughly $20 a person. Expect to leave wishing you had just gone to McDonald's.
