I love Pho soup, but this was a complete disappointment!! I ordered the beef Pho, but no beef I just wanted the broth. The broth was sweet! Seems like they put a ton of sugar in It! I never had Pho that tasted sweet. It destroyed my expenses. Cold, rainy day - I wanted a traditional Pho!
Doesn't say anywhere I could tell but in-store that food is takeout only and served raw for you to take home and cook. They say that there are cooking instructions provided but that comes down to 'boil in the broth, don't eat raw meat.'No surprise it turned out nothing like the photos look or like I've had before.
Really great pho. I'm always skeptical of take out pho but it's the only option right now. I wouldn't recommend getting it take out unless you have a way to reheat the broth before combining the other ingredients. Huge portion, I couldn't fit it all in this giant bowl that has worked at another similarly price vietnamese spot, definitely a bigger portion and the best I've tasted around here. I see a lot of comments about rude service, I think it's a cultural thing, staff in real vietnamese restaurants are typically hurried and curt. I lived in the bay area for years which has dozens of great vietnamese/pho spots and it sometimes seemed like the more curt the staff the better the food.
Customer service was non existent. Siracha and hoison is a staple to Pho and one would normally mention they didn't have any to include with the meal. Even worse they said they were sold out but had bottles on the shelf to sell you, just not to let you use some for your $20 meal. The staff(owner?) couldn't have cared less either.
Very kind service. But pho tooooooooo salty. I wish I’m under the sea lol ? after I ate that bowl of pho! Lol
It feels like someone took at lot of time and attention to make something really beautiful. I had the chicken noodle and from the first bite it’s fresh flavors! Gorgeous basil with premium long and crisp bean sprouts. Adorable quail eggs. The homemade peanut sauce for the spring rolls is nicely balanced. Not too sweet or overly Americanized, and the right amount of tang and spice. Generous portions. Come hungry. Highly recommend!!
Fantastic pho. By far the best in Grand Rapids. Be sure to leave yourself long enough for them to prepare it.
It's pretty bad when the place runs out of hoisin and sriracha sauce and they won't give you any because the stuff on the shelf is supposed to be for sale. Would have went somewhere else if they told us they didn't have any before hand but to make a customer buy a bottle after the fact is a joke.

A little pricy at $15 for a bowl of pho, but it tastes excellent.
Restaurantji Recommends
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.My partner and I came in about a year ago and had a great experience. Today, we had quite the opposite. Upon arrival, the man at the counter was noticeably rude and in a hurry (despite there being only one other customer in the restaurant). After placing our order, he told us that it would be a 20 minute wait for our to go order (of only 1 beef and 1 chicken Pho). We decided to complete our order and wait anyway. After getting our order, we noticed that the instructions on the receipt stated that the beef would be raw-something that was not communicated by the associate at the counter. At $12 a bowl, I would not expect to have to heat up and cook the meal for myself; I am paying YOU to do that for me, especially for the price point. After experiencing the wait time, rude customer service, and the lack of prepared food to go, I will not be returning, and would not recommend this place to anyone.
We ordered chicken noodle soup. It was $12.00 and it was a half an hour wait. Well worth the price and the wait! Excellent tasting broth. The seasoning was so vibrant with the basil and fresh bean sprouts. Enough for 2 people to share?

I genuinely LOVE this place for their amazing PHO! However one to many times, I have been talked to in such a disrespectful way and cut off by the guy that serves you. This last time my husband had to stop me from snapping...I don't know how they stay in business with such horrible customer service. I've over looked it to many times before but this is the last time...To bad because again the PHO IS AMAZING!
Way too much salt! The broth is already good, but they just add extra salt and pepper on the top.
