I rated the service as a 5/5 because the cashier woman was very nice when we went in on Sunday evening. I rated overall a three and food a 2 because this is the most whitewashed shawarma I've ever had in my life. It was just....off. The $1 extra I paid for "spicy" was just some red pepper flakes tossed in. This place is not authentic mediterranean / middle eastern food at all. The only saving grace was the french fries. We got hummus too and it was liquidy? Overblended and bland. Go support local mideastern/mediterranean families and not another corporate restaurant group. Which is sad because I had such high hopes! The place is cute, team is nice but gotta have great food. Can't mess that part up.

Stopped in Grand Rapids on my way home and found Pide & Stick. Very cool place! The food was delicious. I ordered the farm salad and a lamb shawarma. The salad was fresh and flavorful, the lamb shawarma was exactly what I was looking for! Best of all, my food was delivered within 10 minutes of me ordering. This will definitely be my goto spot anytime I am passing through Grand Rapids!

We ordered the watermelon sipper, lamb shawarma, veggie shawarma, large Greek salad, za’atar fries and baklava and top to bottom every thing was DELICIOUS!!! Portion sizes were large, more than worth the cost and every item was incredibly flavorful. The lamb was tender and the kafta seasoning was just right with a nice citrus zip. I’ve gotta give it up to the veggie shawarma as well because I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ordered a veggie meal only to be disappointed with tiny soggy veggies that are under seasoned. This was the exact opposite, the slices were thick and perfectly cooked leaving behind just enough crunch, juicy but not even remotely soggy and seasoned to perfection like everything else we had. The watermelon sipper was bright and fresh, good presentation and despite being perfectly flavorful it was boozy too, leaving nothing to be desired. The Greek salad had some do the pickled root veggies in there which was fire and sooooo many olives, but not TOO many (which for me doesn’t really exist but still). The baklava was supreme, again a large portion, and it was so good it embarrassed every other piece of baklava I’ve ever eaten. Lots of seating, good lighting, comfortable space. Order at the counter and they bring you your food, self serve soda fountain, full bar.

A must try! We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Service was great and the food was excellent!!! So happy to have this added to the Westside! Drink menu is extensive and food menu had many great things to chose from, yet not overwhelming either.
