Rainbow Star Boba Milk Tea

This is such a nice little shop! The staff are always so nice, you can tell they love what they do! While it may not be the most lively, it’s cute, and I personally enjoy it!

My husband and I came here on our way to the beach. It was around 5:15 when we visited, I got the passion fruit tea with tapioca pearls and my husband got the lychee sparkling tea with tapioca.

Both were honestly quite mediocre if not just unpleasant. To start this was probably the least amount of boba I’ve gotten at any bubble tea shop and with a charge of .85 I think it should last more than a couple sips. I got 75% sweet and my husband got 50% both of which were still way too sweet but when we asked the worker what they’re standard of sweetness was he said that was up to us without giving us much of an idea what the range could be. I’ve been to shops that the 100% amount is quite balanced so I didn’t think that was a great response. The tea they use or boba, I can’t quite place, have an odd aftertaste that reminds me of a stale cheerio.

For both drinks it was around $15 but without mention or a sign that I say there was a service charge that brought the total to $17 for using card.

So overall not much we enjoyed about this shop. It was clean and didn’t take very long but the negatives outweigh the good of those things at least for us :/

Wonderful locally owned little shop in Cascade. My daughter was so excited to come try this! They had a huge menu and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Owner and her family were behind the counter serving customers with a smile. We will definitely be back! Delicious and nicely priced (even without the BOGO deal we got!)

The taro milk tea is one of the best I have had and the owners are very sweet and personable. Definitely a hidden gem in Grand Rapids!

The people working were absolutely wonderful, They were very helpful and very polite.
I got the peach fruit tea and the dragon fruit fruit tea with no boba They are amazing especially the peach one that one is my new favorite My husband got the Toro tiger and absolutely loved it he said he could drink it all day.
It's very affordable and the teas overall are pretty healthy for you
