First timer with a customer/friend who brought me there. Portions are very good (i had a "small"). Get the garlic fries and the dipping sauce! Food was prepared perfectly and tasted great.
Quick and easy if your in a hurry and don't want the usual chain restaurants. There is Super Breakfast is good any time of day
Red hot is a grand rapids icon! Chilli dogs are amazing, as are most options. I've been going since I was a baby. Lots of good memories. The two I went to are both closed so I don't go as much.
Red hot inn us a great place for simple "greasy spoon" type food. We enjoy stopping in there for a quick lunch as we are out and about. While it's not a destination restaurant, we do like their food. The chili is thick and meaty, the red hots are comfort food that will always bring some contentment to the soul. Oh, and be sure to have a slice of pie. It is always a pleasure.
Fabulous chili dogs! Best in town. Comfy quiet place to eat. Great prices.
What a cozy and welcoming place to have a delicious home made style breakfast. The staff is friendly. Great way to start the day.
Overall, this was a fine greasy spoon breakfast. It's very similar to The Filling Station on Alpine Ave (especially in design as both used to be Red Hot Inns many years ago). I'm unsure if there's any connection between them today.
It was good, they weren't very busy. The service was great! Friendly, happy, sweet, and fast. The food, ehhhhh it was OK. 9 chili dogs, 3 burgers, 3 fries, 2 drinks. Just over 45 bucks. The chili was pretty blah, the fries were fries and the burgers were the best part.. Juicy and soft buns. All in all, it's a good place to eat if in the area but not a must visit.
The lady that just took our food order at the counter is quite rude and grumpy! The man at the register was complete opposite, super nice and pleasant. Food was really good, glad we didn't leave as we almost did because she was so unpleasant.
If you have ever eaten at Mr burger then you already know what this will be like. You walk in and there is a large menu board right in front of you. You grab a tray and silverware then proceed down the line and place your order. Once paid for you take a seat and wait for your number to be called. The food is okay at best and pricing is average. I paid 10 dollars for an omelette and drink. If you are looking for a great meal you might want to look somewhere else.

Lots of options. Good kids meal options. Drive thru is a bonus.
Love their chili dogs and their salad bar. It's simple but very, very good
Decent food for the price. The kids were happy when they got a huge cookie with their meals.
We're traveling north. It's Friday during Lent we needed fish or at least no meat options. Rolled up in here at 9PM. Greeted with a smile. Ordered their smelt basket. Large portion of fries, about 20 pieces of smelt. The wait service was really great. The food was just fine. I'll come back!
This place is cute! Unique style restaurant, you go up to order at a bar like counter and receive a ticket and pay before receiving food rather than at the end of the meal, you seat yourself and are called back up by your ticket number when your food is ready. They have really great breakfast food and a good menu to choose from.
