The portion sizes aren't filling at all, and the empanadas weren't evenly salted throughout. I am not a person who wants super sized meals, but I do expect to be full after two courses. I ended up going to another cheaper restaurant afterward to get a small snack to hold me over.

The place was located in a nice building. There were multiple wine flight options. Our server was attentive and checked on us the entire time.Wheelchair accessibility: The location didn't have any stairs and seating options to fit a wheelchair.

Came here for a work dinner and this place blew me away. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and guided us through the food and drink menu. He took my request for a glass of white wine somewhere between dry and sweet and his choice was a delicious riesling. He did this for a few of the other people I was dining with and everyone loved his choice. Having built our trust we decided to also let him choose our charcuterie board. He picked a nice blend of goat cheese and cheddar along with prosciutto and salami. The presentation was great and came with a mix of toasted baguettes, pickles, pickled raddish and honey. The menu changes frequently so I won't go any further into entrees but the food was phenomenal. We ended the night with the apple wasabi sorbet and hot chocolate cake with housemade marshmallows. Wonderful dining experience. Would recommend to anyone visiting town and looking for a unique restaurant!

Holy sh*t. It would take me the length of the book of Genesis to properly describe the transcendent experience I had while dining - no: truly living - at Reserve. I've had some crazy meals in Grand Rapids, but this establishment has to take the cake. Their menu seems to rotate pretty frequently so I won't delve too deep into the specifics of my three course meal, but let me tell you that it blew me away. Flavors, textures and aromas so complex, so perfectly balanced, SO delicious that my eyes were rolling in the back of my head with every bite. Everything is sourced as locally and as sustainably as possible, and by god it comes through in the dishes that, frankly, belong in a museum. A proper meal combined with a proper friend at Reserve is sure to cure ANY blight you may have come upon (except financial hardship, this place is not cheap). Treat yourself and/or others to this exquisite experience if you are able and willing.

Love love love Reserve!! Always the best atmosphere, food and drinks + service in town— and while it may be a wine bar, they take their cocktail making seriously and elevate any mixed drink you could ever order or try. Loved the Snowbird last night, celebrating another trip around the sun for a birthday celebration. Let’s talk about that seabream entree, though: WOW. I haven’t had a fish dish cooked like this, to perfection, since literally being in Crete (Greece) this past year. Absolutely stunning, including the presentation and cutting at our table. Thank you for a perfect dining experience, time and time again. Love you, Reserve!Dietary restrictions: They worked with us on restricting butter and dairy, without missing any flavor. Simply delicious and very thoughtful!

Reserve is one of Grand Rapids’ special gems. It’s quite expensive, but worth the cost for the ocasional splurge. Their food menu is outstanding and any dish will leave you impressed. Don’t get too overwhelmed by the wine list, it’s shockingly extensive and in my personal opinion, a bit confusing to browse through. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable with wines and is capable of recommending pairings or just what might be best based on your typical tastes. Bottles definitely have a bit of a markup, but as I said sometimes it is worth it for a nice meal with incredible service.

Interesting! Sat at the bar to wait 10 minutes for water. Asked for lemon and ice in my water twice and the bartender that was more busy counting his tips couldn't even get that right. Hopefully the food is better than the service. Oh wait the bartender is doing shots with the cook. lol this place is a joke

Ok this is a top restaurant. Reserve came highly recommended to us and it lived up to the hype. We came for dinner in December. Vibe: cool, sophisticated Food: unique, delicious, lot's of great options for a date night/special occasion or for just a fun night out. We had oysters which I was surprised were better than some of the oysters we typically get on the East Coast. Seafood pasta and a steak were also excellent. Good portions to try a few different items, which we love to do. Service: perfect. So kind and attentive. We felt so welcome here. I can't wait to come back!

I haven’t been here in years. I was very excited for my visit. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food. We ordered the roasted chicken and the seafood linguine. The potatoes served with the chicken were mostly raw and the seafood that came with the linguine were overcooked. I don’t typically leave reviews, but I was just so disappointed. I would definitely come back for charcuterie though. And the staff was pleasant.

It's been years since I have been here. I was excited for my visit. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. We ordered the roasted chicken and the seafood linguine. Most of the potatoes served with the chicken were slightly raw. And most of the seafood in the linguine was overcooked. I don't normally write reviews, but I was just so disappointed with the food. I would most definitely come back for charcuterie. But most likely won't ever order off the food menu again. I did enjoy the drinks and the staff were pleasant.

Attended a work event which was held at the charming space upstairs and had a great experience. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the wine/drink selection was excellent. Reserve's charcuterie boards are legendary, but you should also try their other apps (like the sliders and the crudité. The chou à la crème for dessert was perfect.

They have the special event and private dining game DOWN. Hosted a post holiday party in the Champaign room with above and beyond service, tasty eats, in a beautiful space. Your glass never empties. It's spectacular. Thanks to Nic and Team for providing a great place to entertain and unwind.
